It seems like mlb.tv has banned VPNs, so I won't get to watch this series because I'm supposed to watch on a channel I can't get or drive 4 hours each way to commute. Don't feel bad we are 8 hrs from Seattle one way ... here in Montana ... We get one game once in a while on root sports mariners - sox and the rest are total blackouts. That is bull too.

Jesus Kelly is a disaster lately.

That's probably not the best place to pitch Harper.

Just as Dave O'Brien is criticizing Harper for never hitting 100 RBIs in a season...his obsession with RBIs is so lame

This is why you need bullpen help. Kelly is not a answer. Too inconsistent. Kimbrel has been entering too many 8th innings lately.

An umpire who is bad for both teams is still bad. Kind of like dysentery.

And now go ahead run at the plate after yet another botched strike 3 call.

I feel like we stole that one a bit, but that was a great game to win. Hopefully the next two games are less stressful.

stole that one
Maybe a bit of good fortune(3 1st inning runs) but they made a few key plays--like to winning hr-- and it stood up in an otherwise mediocre performance. The last pitch by Barnes 7th was very hittable. Let's get 2/3. Lots of RS fans tonight. Not as many as Baltimore but close.

33 pitches for Kimbrel. You can thank Kelly for about 10 pitches thrown in the 8th inning. You can blame the home plate umpire for the last 4 pitches thrown.
I hope Kimbrel makes it through the rest of the year. Cora is leaning on him heavily this year because he's the best they got and lately Kelly has been just bad Kimbrel has been filling in 8th innings for him.

Kelly's track record is that he will always be Joe Kelly. He is always going to see his command come and go in a very streaky way. The good thing about this problem is it does not seem to have anything to do with pressure. It's not like he tightens up and can't find the plate . There is no rhyme or reason to it except that it happens. It reminds me a bit of JBJ and his hitting or not.

Braves take a 5-3 lead on the Yanks with a wall scraping Yankee Stadium HR by Acuna in the 11th. Holder/Green/Chapman/Betances/Robertson all pitching.
