UGH!>4 hits in a row. Had Cabrera 0-2 with 2 outs and no one on.

you rely on BABIP gods when you only have 1 K in 3+ innings...it's always amazed me with Eovaldi how he can't get swings and misses with a 100mph fastball (and now a 95mph cutter) and a splitter.

need to brush these guys back a bit. I know that won't be popular, but they are getting too comfortable here. Not advocating hitting them.

I was saying the same to my friend when we went and saw the Sox play the Phillies, about Eovaldi has great stuff but doesn't miss bats.

Remember when Eovaldi was the next great Red Sox?

Remember when Eovaldi was the next great Red Sox? We have 1 hit thru 5 innings. Eovaldi isn’t the problem tonight

I don't like JD batting 3rd. It shortens our lineup without Devers. Sounds like he's trying anything to get us going. We should not be losing this game. I know Cleveland is tough, but being in that division makes them seem tougher. We would have 100 wins if we were in the central.

in to replace Nathan Eovaldi is....Nathan Eovaldi with a higher walk rate !
Eovaldi's inability to get a strikeout is an issue.

Joe Kelly and his skinny jeans. I can count the 86 cent and 2 sticks of gum in his back pocket.

I was very mystified by how mystified Eck and O'Brien were by that obvious tag.

Looks like we have ourselves our first losing streak since April. The run at .700 might be coming to an end as I don't like the Sox pitching matchup tomorrow against Cleveland either.
The offense has been MIA since the weekend.
Hope the Sox can get some help from Miami so it won't matter. Won't count on it though.
I'd hate to see the first real Red Sox funk of the year get the Yankees to within 5 games or so.
