Oh come on. Go one further. Let's hope the Red Sox win the WS without playing any games. I would prefer that to be honest. Don't watch then, just make something up in your head.

Don't watch then, just make something up in your head. How does an obvious joke go so far over your head? How am I supposed to know when you're joking? You only post about the Red Sox when complaining. It's not obvious at all that you are anything but extremely negative all of the time on this board. That's the only way I 'know' you.

It’s not my problem that you seem to be obsessed with my posts, but I suggest you simply ignore them if they bother you so much.

I wonder if ERod is tipping pitches again. He was unhittable in the first and now Houston is sitting on every pitch.

The Astros are not the White Sox....scary offense. ERod reality check.
Our bats need to get going.

Bregman has been torturing the Sox the past 2 years. The Sox just have a hard time catching a break against this team. They can hit all of the Sox left handed starters except for Price.

I don't know, maybe the Sox would be better off if they started Eovaldi in a playoff series against the Astros since they are the best in the league against LHP.

I don't think anyone should over think it. There are teams and times you put your best against their best and see what happens. If you start getting away with what got you there, i feel like you open yourself up. We have a great team and so do they, it is going to be decided by the players. I do feel like we increase our chances without Vasquez in the lineup, give him some more less difficult regular season starts this year, then shelve him until next spring and let him work on becoming a better player.

Morton is absolutely nasty. It's like they transformed this guy into a ACE the second they signed him. He's easily going to get paid this offseason.

Is it possible that Moreland doesn't even make the postseason roster? Honestly, he's been so bad and banged up in the 2nd half that it makes me wonder if they would rather have Swihart and Phillips over him. I would.
Edit: I checked and he has a 47 wRC+ and a .247 wOBA for the 2nd half, completing a .177/.246/.327 (.573 OPS) line. That's just not going to cut it for the playoffs.

Well is Moreland really banged up? He's never been a great hitter. I hate the bucket foot....not a good looking swing. Geez get Pearce or Phillips over there!!

i know you guys are just posting, but come on, this sinking feeling is the same that happened in our first series against the guys when they won the first 2......and then we came back to split.
After last night the Astros has scored a grand total of 2 more runs than us in the 5 games we have played this year.
We know they are going to be a team that is going to be there until the end. But we are fine.

The Sox are getting taken to the cleaners today. If the Sox lose this game, they'll be 3-10 in their last 13 games versus the Astros.

disappointing for ERod, but I think he is in for great things for the rest of this year.

This isn’t the same powerless 2017 Red Sox offense that the Astros beat last year. Our offense is better than theirs numbers don’t lie. We can easily comeback. Guys just relax even if we get swept we will be fine. Astros were hot coming in.
