It's like backwards. Thankfully.

Does MLB realize that Anderson is black? Why’s it matter? All they did was say what he said.

Does MLB realize that Anderson is black? Why’s it matter? All they did was say what he said. To piggyback this. You can't just allow some players to use certain words and not others. If you want this out of the game you have to enforce it for all players.

Let's not start this. I see where this is going. Let's just not. Thanks.

Aaron Judge came out of the Yankee game with an oblique issue.

Indians DFA Hanley. He was hitting .184 with 2 HRs.

Aaron Judge came out of the Yankee game with an oblique issue. Now he's on the DL as well. Their DL is now at 13 players, which is over half a roster.

This catch............ And the overthrow of 1B from the wall......... And the on-the-run pivot from Hundley! That's not a play a catcher is used to making.

Dude is solidly in the mix for best baseball player in the world not named Mike Trout.

Dude is solidly in the mix for best baseball player in the world not named Mike Trout. Wow. Is Miami that bad for hitters or is Milwaukee that good? I don't ever remember hearing about power being a big part of his game. He's making Ted Williams look like a AAAA player.

I'm am definitely not one of those "the old guys were better than these newfangled punks" types, but... Ted Williams had entire seasons better than that. He hit .406/.553/.735 once and it was arguably not his best season. Anyway, here's the draft day scouting report from mlb.com: He was always one of those guys for whom the physical tools were there to hit for power and it just wasn't playing in games yet, though he did slug .483 in Miami in 2016.

That .441 OBP and .802 SLG though... Granted SSS and obviously Ted Williams has done it over and over and over again and is still the best pure hitter, ever. Well, I guess he was one of those projection guys who actually turned out. It's just crazy to think merely growing is what's responsible from him going from a: .766 .764 .782 .859 .807 OPS to 1.000 1.244 OPS

(He's also hitting the ball harder than he ever has on top of that.)

Yelich is 27, just coming into his prime. He was the real prize when the Jeter-Marlins traded off assets, not Stanton. Media buzz is different than a detailed look at what players bring to the table. His skillset is vastly superior to latter's. He's a good defender with speed on the bases and a complete hitting profile. He's also been much less prone to injuries. This is no fluke.

Pinstripe Alley @pinstripealley Clint Frazier to join his fellow #Yankees on the injured list with a partial ankle tear and yet somehow it never seems to matter who they lose, as the Angels blow a 5 - 0 lead tonight and lose 6 - 5. Yankees have won six in a row. annoying
