Steady success just comes hard for this team - they end up being their own worst enemies. I would call 80 games a pretty hefty sample size. We are what we've shown - a barely above .500 team with lots of talent, some glaring flaws, and some key players falling off last year's lofty performances.

just tough to feel confident with this team right now. gotta keep the faith. It's just one game. Although, I only get to say that about 37 more times before it doesn't matter.

Hard to get too mad after last year. I just want a wild card berth and the potential to get hot at the right time. Plenty of talent to make good things happen.

Just a note that Thornburg now has a 20.65 ERA after a 5 run inning in Pawtucket. No heroics coming from him this year (or ever?)

Still trying to figure out what was in Cora’s mind letting Nuñez hit vs. a fresh RH reliever with bases loaded in the 6th. Especially with Hernandez on the bench.

I'm guessing he would say that Nunez has been swinging the bat well, he drove in Chavis earlier and that he liked him in that situation. Aside from that, he just likes Nunez.

Pretty shocking stat - just read that last year our first inning BA was .271. This year so far it is .171 - off a cliff drop off, explains why we play from behind so much

It's embarrassing how obvious that steal attempt was. White Sox sniffed that out like it's nothing. The fact that Vazquez gor a hit after makes it look worse.
