OK. One run to win and get away with one that could have been a L. This team really is TOUGH.

I think I get why the Jays are not living up to expectations. Like they were allergic to winning that game.

Those three later June games at Tampa are going to be huge...and (hopefully) fun!

Seems like we have gotten a lot better playing (and winning) at home now with our fans in full force!

Does this team have a bit of a mix of vibes from 2013 and 2018 or what? Some veteran presence stepping up big, and Cora pushing largely the right buttons and hunches. Like I've said a lot already - this is fun stuff.

Verdugo is the most lovable player we’ve had in a long time.

The first stretch of the season I thought Arroyo was kinda sucky at the plate but his stats were good due to insane luck, but the last few weeks he's been legit. I was literally telling my family how he was a BABIP fluke as he hit his HR last night. Tonight all I said was that he was proof that i was a Sox know it all.

Verdugo is the most lovable player we’ve had in a long time. An appropriate replacement for one of the most loveable players we had for a long time!

Wow, the Blue Jays left 13 men on base.
Some clutch pitching by Taylor and Whitlock.
Red Sox are 39-25 which is 4 games behind 2018’s record of 43-21 after 64 games. The RS also have the 4th best record in the mlb. I thought the 2021 Red Sox would win 87-90 games, but they are a little better than even i thought.

This team reminds me the 2013 non sense team, a real team where all the players are there helping each other getting better, regardless of what's going to happen they already made my day and are beyond all my expectations, plus they shout up the key board warriors that spend their time spewing poison on the team.
LET'S GO RED SOX

Nice win. As Taylor gets further and further away from his positive COVID test, he's regaining the form and effectiveness of his 2019 season. Two crunch-time performances in a row for him, and the K/9 rate is just about where it was that year. He's really been effective against lefties and righties.

Fun facts to know and tell: Mookie Betts hit his 6th homer of the year on Thursday. He has yet to hit one with runners on, with 2 outs, or with his team trailing. He has three leadoff homers (including the last one), a homer leading off the bottom of the 3rd with the Dodgers up 2-0, and two with 1 out in the top of the ninth with the Dodgers up 4-1 and 9-1.
I don't have to tell you what Christian Arroyo has done with his three homers, all in his last 8 games. Mookie's 6 have been worth a total .403 wins by WPA. Christian's 3 have been worth .817.
