Ah, the concrete jungle (veterans stadium). I had the displeasure of playing there once, it was like playing a game on tarmac. The Trop being mentioned in company with that park is no special endorsement. What's always struck me as odd about the trop are the rings and catwalks on the roof, reminiscent of when the Cowboys built their new stadium and their scoreboard became an impediment to high kicks. The worst part about the trop is the 8000 fans with cow bells. I had a "fan" ringing one inches from my head the entire game. You also cannot see crap in that stadium. The lights are awful. It's like they never upgraded from fluorescent to LED. I commend you for not getting rung up on assault charges. 5 Minutes of someone ringing a cow-bell in my ear and I'm going to jail for aggravated assault.

Also, who has the Astros sweeping the White Sox? I kind of feel like that’s the likeliest outcome there Give CWS a game, but HOU is clearly terrifying. I'd have a hard time rooting for either team if the Yankees played the Astros. I wouldn't watch. I freaking hate them for better reasons than I hate the Yankees.

It was an older woman. lol I did ask nicely to stop, but then she started up again every time I cheered whatsoever for the Red Sox. If I owned a team, I'd ban super annoying things like that from being in the park at all. They're worse than whistles.

I think Houston wins, but the only reason I would consider rooting for them is for Dusty to finally get a chance to get over the championship hump. Correa is an arrogant asshat, as is Bregman, I just can't root for them. On the flip side, it's the opposite, Tony Larussa is a dinosaur who deserves to have a meteorite chucked at his head, but Abreau and company deserve recognition and a chance at a championship.

So, I'd be bailing out my wife after she forearm shivered a silver haired septuagenarian. I agree though, teams should discourage those kind of things, because while it may seem like a fun morale building activity it ruins the experience for other paying fans. It's like heckling, I've got no problem with heckling when it's playful, respectful, and innocent, but inevitably some asshole crosses over a line.

There were plenty of empty seats. It was at least 2-1 Sox fans though. I was also just with my 10 year old son at the time, so I was consciously trying to be a good dad despite my blood boiling. haha I'd also ban that damn drum in Oakland. I can't even listen to it on tv.

I was thinking about the "Tampa Way" and bringing it to Boston.
All I can say is that I can't wait for Bloom's first Snell or Archer trade.
But for some reason, I think those ripoff trades will never happen again at some point because of big data analysis.

If we're being honest, I'd ban Sweet Caroline in a nanosecond. Pretty much anything gimmicky gets tired quick for me, like a few years back when Betts, Bradley, and Benintendi were doing ridiculous dances after games, doing it once, fine, but after the 5th time I had enough. I'd also shove that whistle .wav at Yankee stadium so far up Michael Kay's ass we'd only hear it when he sneezed, but I digress.

I freaking hate them for better reasons than I hate the Yankees. In fairness, I started to not hate the Yankees, but then they bought low on Chapman after the DV issues, then fleeced the Cubs, then Domingo German did his thing, so that did it for me. Astros have the cheating and the Roberto Osuna trade, so it’s close lol

If the Red Sox have patient good at bats and the pitchers attack the zone like they did against the Yankees I think we will be fine
