No Sox player in history has grown on me like Nate. When they got him, I thought “meh.” When they extended him, I thought “mistake.” And since? Guy has become a cornerstone and must-watch. Love him. Wish he had one more shutdown inning on his ledger...

Saw something the other day (maybe a tweet from someone) regarding his opening day start. It’s his third opener in a row. He joins an elite list of guys like Clemens, Pedro, Eck, Cy Young, Ruth and just one or two others that have done that. I’m a huge fan of the guy.

That’s a home run in probably one park in the league. But 116 mph line drives will do damage regardless.

Yankees have someone warming. Cole with his jacket on in the dugout.

Yankees have someone warming. Cole with his jacket on in the dugout. if you have 15 pitchers, you can warm up a guy even if he's not definitely coming in.

So the second best SS on the team just made an error. I love you X, but this is exactly why you will be wearing a different jersey next year.

EDIT: He gone.
EDIT, part deux: The MFYs have 16 pitchers on their roster (!)

Leadoff hit from the 9-hole hitter should produce a run.
