Lame that they are muting the actual announcements from the teams
I miss the old days of the draft when you needed to download Real Player to listen to it

Reds take RI HS RHP Ben Brutti. USF commit has really exploded in the last yr or so, up to 95 a nice breaking ball.

I would imagine if we don't see a signability swing here, we won't see one at all.

I would imagine if we don't see a signability swing here, we won't see one at all. Probably - although they will most likely take a few fliers later on guys they have no chance of signing.

I would imagine if we don't see a signability swing here, we won't see one at all. Guessing we will see mostly college players who fit their profile and maybe 1-2 high HS kids they are high on they can sign for 150K

If they do take HS guys my eyes or on Eric Snow and Henry Godbout, given the pre-draft connections. Stanley Tucker another JUCO name to watch too

Marques Johnson, RHP, Long Beach State #328 on BA Burst onto the scene late this season - really pitched well down the stretch, did miss one start, but came back to deal against a bad Riverside team...

Reds take BC RHP Mason Pelio, a huge freshman yr, but has really struggled w control last yr, and health this yr. Has been up to 99 in the past, but not much command. Did have a nice Cape league this summer.

Mason McRae's Write Up on him #557 - Missed a lot of bats this spring, his breakers were the main reason for that as he had feel for them, even if they weren't the best shapes. His slider is generic, but at 81-84 it's solid in college. His curve is a slurve at 76-79 with drop and 9" of sweep. He can't throw the change for strikes so even if it's shape is good the pitch is not. His four-seam has run and some ride, up to 94 with it, sitting in the low-90s with it, average pitch. He spent time starting games but didn't throw a lot, wasn't throwing a ton of strikes, stuff is average. Needs to throw harder.

Was a high regarded recruit, mostly relieved this yr. Prior to this yr only pitched 18 innings in 3 yrs.
