Pretty excited about both Astros kids. Seem to be genuinely interesting players.

I wonder if we see a Lugo and Koss promotion to make room for Ferguson. edit: I guess Mayer is probably taking the SS reps at Greenville soon anyway. Where are they gonna play Ferguson? Maybe he's not a priority, but seems like a waste to make him play in the corners a bunch.

Pretty wimpy HR tbh. 363 feet, 96 mph according to Speier.

Hard hit, barrel, opposite field 360+ feet is pretty impressive in my book.

Look, I'm not saying the home run was a bad at bat.

Pretty wimpy HR tbh. 363 feet, 96 mph according to Speier. True. But then again, the guy does have 21 on the year.

Gee, that's a real Deversian go-with-where-the-pitch-is type homer.

Keller probably done for the day: 6IP, 2H, 1ER, 2BB, 10K
Since the start of June: 45.1IP, 25H, 8ER (1.60 ERA), 19BB, 57K

There’s no way this kid can be any worse then Yolmer. Just bring him up so we can see him. He’s clearly MLB caliber Bat.

I don't know if I really buy into anything enough to where I consider him a future piece but he's earned that much, to me.

Keller has enough velo to play, seems like he sits around 93. He’s kept up his bat missing abilities that he improved last year while halving his walk rate. Very interesting as a depth option

Looks like Alex Hoppe, Jonathan Brand, and Isaac Coffey were added to the FCL roster. Given their relief-only profiles, I could see them making their debuts in the next few days.

That's fair. I guess I mean that these are guys that aren't necessarily "priorities" in terms of getting them lined up for a starter's routine right now (that's Rogers, Dean, and probably Johnson?).

Yeah, my initial thought was that he just wouldn't pitch at all this year given that he had almost 90 innings of work at ORU but I guess if he got added to the roster, he'll probably play.
