Gonna die then. They're even hammering the balls out of the strike zone. That’s what makes me think they knows what’s coming, they’ve hammered pitches not even close to the zone The same team lighting him up twice definitely adds to your theory but looks like the control isn’t there either

He’s not fooling anybody, is he tipping? Was wondering this as it doesn't matter if it's down the middle or shoe tops, inside or outside and 95 or 81, the O's are swinging and hitting it.

NESN just showed a stat that Sales slider is only 8 inch vertical movement versus 11 inches in his previous outing. Would support 'bad stuff' vs tipping

I’m watching them crush 95 up and out of the zone and sliders at the ankles, and not just hit them- CRUSH them. Now he’s also missing fat too, don’t get me wrong. But some of these aren’t pitches that should be getting hit 100+ mph unless they know it’s coming

Was he pitching from the stretch with no one on?

Holding my breath whenever the Sox take a two strike pitch that misses by 8 inches

Chris Sale was basically out there pitching naked, totally bereft of his slider.
Basically of he doesnt have his wipeout slider, he cant get anybody out. His fastball isnt good enough. He has such a thin margin between pitching like an ace and pitching like a minor leaguer.

Yoshida is on fire. Turner making the first out at 3b was not wise

I wanna say it’s a bad out but took a perfect throw to get him and absent a perfect throw you have the tying run on 3 and go ahead on second with no outs… kinda fine with it

you can't love the aggressiveness WMB when it ends up an out. that doesn't make sense.

Don't look now, but Yoshida is hitting .265 with a .780 OPS.

Yoshida's gonna be (already is?) a stud. Opposite field hitting changes everything
