Curious where he will rank here to start, I’m gonna guess in the 16-22 range, but I suppose it depends on the reports of his stuff currently. I'm going to guess 20 or 21. He sounds like he should be in a similar tier to monegro as things currently stand. He's got a chance to move up quickly with a good showing it feels like though, similar to monegro.

I’m more bullish than you, I see him in the 13-16 range, and if I had to pick a definite slot I’ll go 14. I’ll bet you $2,000 he’s ranked 17th. Totally unrelated, but @chris, do you wanna make $1000? DM me…

Considering his age and experience I would consider what Monegro did in A ball this year more impressive, but he also isn’t touching 100 MPH. I’m curious to see where he falls

It would seem very unlikely for him to slot in above fitts or even within a few spots of fitts at this juncture.

Chris said on Twitter “No question he will debut in our top 20 and likely higher” so it sounds like he should at least be close.

There definitely seems a lot to like about sandlin but fitts is gonna be at AAA and on the doorstep of MLB and is basically only a year older. Sandlin turns 23 next week fitts turned 24 a couple months ago. Maybe I'm a bit too bullish on fitts and still just cautiously optimistic on sandlin. I do think sandlin could close that gap quickly in terms of prospect ranking quickly tho.

Given his age, the expectation is his stay in High A could be short with AA around the corner.

Good grief sox twitter is a toxic as Chernobyl My mentions are a dumpster fire. It really only gets like this when I get amplified by the bigger local guys but dear god Twitter is the worst. I can't imagine getting this every time I posted something on there. Don't care or anything, just an observation. Reddit isn't any better either.

I love this move. The drop off from Schreiber to Campbell or Weissert shouldn't really be that noticeable. There's excellent depth in the right-handed relief corps, and we've just gotten a legit starting pitching prospect.
I'll throw my hat into the ring for ranking guess - 13. Just under the high upside of Nazzan Zanatello, but above Chase Meidroth.

Weissert's peripherals were similar to Schreiber's last season, and Campbell's were a bit better. They are both younger as well.

If Weissert is able to cleanly plug and play for Schreiber, the Verdugo return effectively becomes: -Fitts -Sandlin -Judice I hope to see more of the same from Breslow and am excited to see how the arms he acquired perform this year.

I just love the idea of him mumbling to himself "I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND!" before every batter he faces.

I know it's sick, but I'm thinking more of him manifesting his dominance over the other team with a youngling slaughter.
