Wilyer has been chasing a lot this year. Very uncharacteristic of him.

Wilyer has been pretty good defensively these past few games. He made those windy Angels games look pretty easy. Most of the mistakes I've saw him make are the routine plays.

Good job by Kutter and the coaching who likely saved a run with Valdez’s defensive alignment

Kutter deserves an updated scouting report! This man is a bonafide starter. Love to see it.

Love Abreu is RF with Rafaela at SS with story out. Let’s Rafaela work on versatility and give us a better SS and we get Abreu in the lineup with Duran and oneill Also give us a meaningful look at what we have in Abreu I think this is something they needed to try. Get Abreu some ABs and see if he's really part of their future. And if Rafaela is truly their best SS, then they have to try this although understandably there will be a defensive dropoff in CF. If it dont work- they can cross that bridge when they get to it.

Couple good swings for Devers. Just got under the first one and that one was a rope. Promising

After the first week I was sure Abreu was ticketed for WooSox. Glad to be wrong again.

The young Naylor like to complain about called strikes down the middle. Strange for a catcher.

Definitely have to keep Rafaela at SS. It’s just makes more sense to move Hamilton down when Refsnyder is back and have Reyes as infield utility player
Crawford is a beast.

Kutter at 76 pitches through 5 of one-hit, scoreless ball. You really do love to see it.

Despite the umpire sucking I like Abreu laying off that pitch above the zone

9 pitch walks usually help.

I might be in the minority but I enjoy listening to Jonny Gomes. But I definitely do not enjoy having my screen split so I can watch Jonny talk.
C'mon, man. Keep the thing the thing.

Sox have 2 hits on the day despite a .354 xBA. The Sox and Guardians have combined for 5 barrels today which have resulted in a grand total of one hit, the triple by Arias.

The good thing about Rafaela's at bat is that it's the longest time before his next at bat.

Great start by Kutter. It's too bad the offense hasn't shown up yet.
I'd have let Kutter face the last batter to try and get him the win.

Duran is legit like a 70th percentile CF at this point

Could be a placebo effect, but overall the defense seems far more confident today w/ Rafaela over @ SS.
Should also be noted that Duran has hauled in a couple of balls out in CF that were very challenging as well.

Absolute buzzard luck for the bats today. 6 99+ MPH fly balls or liners and zero hits on them. .320 xBA .111 actual BA. Devers, O'Neill and Rafaela have all crushed a couple balls.
