It's been really cool watching Rubby's progression. The first couple starts he looked like all arm and you thought he could be destined for the pen. Now he's been pitching instead of simply throwing and though he's still a tad wild he's been dominating. He still may eventually end up in the pen, but he's earned the chance to get a few major league starts.
In his last 10 starts he's pitched 43 innings with a .84 ERA and has K'd a batter per inning. His last start he pitched a shutout with no BB's.
I think he could contribute right now.

GCL box is live.
Hamilton was replaced when the suspended game restarted and isn't playing in the scheduled game, making me think he might be headed back to Pawtucket.
How the hell they'll fit him on the roster, I've got no idea. Probably Holt to the DL (hasn't played in 10 days).

Is there a limit to the number of times you can vote? I thought it woulbe be similar to MLB with 25 max but I just did it for what felt like 5 minutes straight

Fairly certain there is not, the other night when I first read about it on the news feed here I voted close to a thousand times while a was watching tv. (I really wanted to make sure Tyler Austin didn't make it because that would be pathetic.) For the major league voting the limit is clearly stated and the site tells you when you hit it, and it does neither here.

Well we would most certainly not be true prospect followers if we didn't get Cecchini in with unlimited votes.

I was wondering the same thing yesterday, probably voted like a thousand times while asking myself if any of the votes actually counted.

I don't think the "votes" count unless you give them your email. There is a capcha there you need to fill out for each vote. I think it's unlimited if you fill out the capcha. I shared it on facebook also. Let's seriously put this in the bag for Garin.

Looks like Mets fans are way more into stuffing the ballot box than we are.

also his pitch count got up to 92 today, I haven''t been paying much attention lately, so I don't know if that's new

It actually tells you the time of your last vote. If you don't see that, you didn't vote.

Good news: Rubby 6ks 0bb 92 pitches tonight.(semi)Bad news: Rubby used 92 pitches to get only 5 2/3 innings.
Still, appears to be gaining some level of consistency with his starts. Anyone seen him lately? Is the high pitch count result of a lot of 3 ball counts or are batters fouling off his stuff at high rates?

Also, anyone seen Almanzar more than once this month? That 16%K rate is not awful, nor is the roughly 8% walk rate when taken together with his pop (31 XBH in 302 PAs). I wonder how he'd look at either 2nd base (if they are predicated on trading him) or LF if they are thinking about keeping him. Does he have any foot speed?

For context, Anibal Sanchez, Justin Verlander, Shelby Miller, Yu Darvish, Cole Hamels, and Gio Gonzalez are among the pitchers with more Pitches per Inning Pitched this year.
