^Minus the shaky E-Rod start Don't forget the craptastic Stankiewicz start. I saw both of those about 3 minutes after my post.

Moncada grand slam, Devers triple and Benintendi with a 20 game hitting streak.
What a lovely night already.

Drive going into the 14th tied 4-4. Poyner with three more scoreless innings. He now has 11Ks with no walks. Poyner needs to be moved up to Salem, let someone from XST take his spot in Greenville.

Damn 2016 Stankiewicz! Where did all this awesomeness come from? McAvoy, Stank and Wilkerson have been fun to watch in that rotation.

Very small minor note - I'm glad to see Tate Matheny have a good start to the year. He was brutally poor last season.

Just visual observations. Moncada looks like he's aiming for the gaps with a fast bat swing. Dubon looks like he's trying to get on base. Benintendi looks like he's looking for something to drive but has the best contact skills so that driving range is wide. Devers looks like he's trying to hit 50 HRs. I agree with all this. Every time I've watched Devers at the plate it looks like he's absolutely trying to hit the ball 600 feet. He's got one hell of an enormous powerful swing. Dubon has been a lot of fun to watch in this lineup for Salem.

Lakins just made an incredible bare handed play and nailed a runner at home. Also, Sam Travis is hitting everything he sees.

McAvoy with some early stats, Dogs up 2-0 after 3. Drive tied 2-2. Monge with a HR. Alej playing 2B today. My box score right now says that Luis Alej has the home run. Not sure if it's all jumbled up or not at the moment.

With Dubon having a good start, I can see an infield logjam in the mid minors....YM, Chavis, Dubon, Devers (once he gets going), Longhi, Rijo (maybe), Kyri Washington, ect......Guys like Coyle & Marrero may get leapfrogged in a year... Not to nitpick, but Kyri is an outfielder.

Dubon tossed out for arguing about a safe call at home, he was very animated.

Although he just made an out there, Doubon's season shouldn't go unnoticed. He's lost between Moncada and Benintendi but is OPSing .811 He also has looked really good at short defensively so far.

I didn't see anything happen during to him during the game, but Craig was just replaced in right field in the 4th. Hernandez also made a couple great plays at short.
