It seems like we are getting held hitless every game lately.

At least lay down a decent bunt if you are going to make a stupid decision like that.

Lets see if he can at least gather himself and get 2 good innings here.

Oh no no no, that's an achilles. Well, he's walking now. So maybe it's still stretchy enough as a 24 year old to not tear. The way his foot bent backwards was really ugly. I guess it could also be his calf. Well i remember kobe bryant walking when his achilles popped...

You would think if Dombrowski had a problem with JFs terrible decisions he would do something about it. Starting to think its on Dombrowski as well.

Having your players mentally prepared to play is the job of the manager. No excuse for players to be making mental mistakes in the field. Zero! You saw it again with Shaw off the wall to wide a turn at first. Inexcusable. But yet we see it most every game. That is my issue with Farrell. Player accountability. That's absurd. What is Farrell going to do to Wright now? Put him in the corner? Make him run laps? Take him out of the rotation? That's on the player. Another one for the ignore list. Ya seriously he was walking toward the dugout like the inning was over smh

Taz said it himself in the postgame interview via an interpreter that his velocity is down because he is warmed up almost all the time.

The Red Sox are facing a lineup that just recently shattered the record for strikeouts in a three game series with 52 punchouts.

Ross just threw 5 strikes to walk Ryan Flaherty. Serioulsy has to be the worst at bat an ump has ever had! Why didnt anyone say anything? Weird as hell

The entire series, the Sox have been playing against the umps. Its pretty hard to win facing two teams.

They have 3 off days in the next 8 days. I hope they just skip that crappy spot and hopefully have some one new get a chance on the next turn. They can call anyone up IMO because owens/kelley/buchholz are gonna give up at least 5 runs anyway.

You guys need to chill about the rotation! It has one weak spot! ONE. UN. UNO. واحد The rest of it goes from above avg to really good. The BP is good too with top arms: Kimbrell, Koji, Tazawa, Ross. A LHH? Yeah, I would like that (Bruce maybe or Jay) but that's it. Don't overreact. Robbie Ross Jr is not good, we need to make a trade for an ELITE Left handed pitcher. What lefty do you have in mind? JW

It seems that the days of being super active in free agency might be over as all they'll be able to hopefully do is sign their own guys. That's probably a good thing. I think they are hanging back until Beltran, Teixiera (after this year), CC and ARod (after next year) are off the books. Then they will go hard for Harper, Kershaw, Machado or Xander, and perhaps Fernandez. Or they sell the team just before that and the new owner (Dolan? Levine? Cuban?) will try to do the same. Well who ever the owner is they better be ready to cough up 1 Billion dollars on just few players.

Maybe, but its more realistic than trading for andrew miller just based on the fact the red sox and dodgers actually do business with each other. What's the incentive for either team to do this? Worthless suggestion, sorry. I know it was a worthless suggestion, i was just engaging in this conversation of hypothetical situations messing around and trying to see what it would take for him to trade espinoza, it was just as random as you trying to trade for mickey mouse.

Trafing quality prospects for top notch relievers, is that an acceptable strategy for the current Red Sox operations dept? I dont believe it is.. I mean its not the way that most if not all of top notch relievers end up in a bullpen, they are not acquired via trade especially not for quality prospects.

Espinoza with a no hitter through 4. 4 walks to 1 strikeout Struck out the side in the 5th and allowed a hit. Finished 5 Ip, 1 H, 4 BB, 4 SO, 5-2 GO-FO Nice! Looks like we got some something special going on in that Greenvile rotation.

Yep. Hard contact leads to two outs when it could just as easily have been a single to left, one run in, dance continues. Nah. Thats just what happens when you cant catch up to a fastball

The orioles lineup got punched out 53 times by the houston astros in that 3 game series. Very happy they are struggling losing 4 straight going into clevelend this weekend.

This may be a nasty sentiment, but I am kind of glad the streak is over. Nothing against JBJ, I did not wish for the streak to end. But streaks like this can get distracting, they can add pressure, they can get in the way of optimal performance. Now he can just play without the circus-within-a-circus atmosphere that a streak engenders. I see where you are coming from. It's also encouraging that he hit two absolute screamers that could have home runs on a different night, so it's not like he's gonna go ice cold now. Ya in toronto the first flyball probably makes it over the fence in right field.
