I’m just baffled by the Perez move. There’s no chance he’s a better option than Eovaldi there. Pitch count, Eovaldi was probably on a tight count.

Man you gotta call that strike. It wasn’t even borderline, it was all in.

Do what, exactly? This is a well documented part of his makeup. Going into a hostile environment, given his history, is certainly worth mentioning. Except that's not how anxiety works. Greinke is a vet, he found some routine that works for him. We shouldn't rely on a psychological disorder to be a weakness, if a guy is there then he battled through some shit that's bigger than the Fenway crowd. And it's not even called for, current version of Greinke isn't much to write home about. We should be salivating to face a less than great pitcher at the ALCS with the potential to get a 3-1 lead!

Greinke also was famous for having serious anxiety issues in the past. That was always the main reason he wouldn’t go to NY. I’m not sure if he has that under control now, but hoping the Sox(and the fans) can rattle him and make him uncomfortable. Let's not do this. The fact that Greinke is able to pitch at all means he's resilient and won't get rattled that easily. Let's not hold his mental illness as some kind of edge.

Let it not go underappreciated that the Red Sox played probably the best defense they have played all season. Just perfect from everyone, that double clutch by Devers was incredible.

I think he'd be a terrible mix in Boston. He let the booing in NY create a situation where he was booing the fans. That kind of attitude won't play in Boston. Booing NY fans doesn't play in Boston? Is this real life? Dude's a Red Sox legend already!

Great win! In control all the time, making their bullpen work hard in both of these games. We could and probably should have scored more runs out of their arms, but I think we'll get there. Keep on!

I love Xander, great person, but he’s going to end up hurting this team like Jeter hurt the Yankees.

Our bullpen games can work, but it's not deep enough to cover Sale only going 2 and change. Probably a different outcome if he could've reached 4 innings. Not really, their offense came out of our arguably best bullpen arms outside of Whitlock. I mean, outside of this inning lmao.

I have a lot of questions for AC Dude was in whatever works mode. The offense has been really atrocious since chasing the starter.

Was definitely referring to the Astros here. Undoing his gloves in the batters box. Terrible Oh, I know, I meant that as a continuation to my previous post. Whatever happens, we're here baby!

Whatever happens, we're one of the 4 best teams in baseball. Who'da thunk it? Really bad inning by Houck though

The Altuve home run was 382 feet and this park made it look like 482 feet. That's surprising, it looked like an absolute no doubter coming out of the bat.

Houck got lucky Brantley laid off one hanging slider there too or this game would have been 4-3. Really didn't have it tonight.

The Astros are NOT the Rays, their bullpen should not be able to hold us here.

Sale's not back, and that's not surprising after TJ surgery, but if you're don't respect the way he's gutting his way through getting these outs I don't know what to tell you. Reminds me of Clay Buchholz in 2013 I believe. He had absolutely nothing and was just throwing little league cheese. Dude went out and got us some outs on sheer will alone. I love this stuff.
