Nasty 3-2 changeup to get his first out. Velo looks good, 93-95, touched 96.

Nasty 3-2 changeup to get his first out. Velo looks good, 93-95, touched 96. I don't have access to the game on TV so I'm listening in on WEEI. They said he hit 98 is that just wrong? They also said the changeup was taught to Ruby from none other than Pedro!

Here is hoping he pitches so well that they cannot send him down again.

The umpiring crew is basically asking for someone to get hurt by not issuing warnings. I don't get it.

It's so much more fun to watch a prospect pitch than Clay. Excellent first inning for Rubby!!

Xander Bogaerts is such a good hitter. The way he pulled his hands in and cleared out that pitch ...

The change is a thing of beauty and the fastball has the velocity, but he definitely will over-throw it at times and lose his release point.

Another nice slider to start Dejesus. 10 inches of brake and dropped it in on the inside corner.

Gomes should've had that one. RDLR had a nice sequence against DeJesus ... didn't know he had a curve.

I like how RDLR is holding Zobrist at 2nd. Workman should take notes.

The umpiring crew is basically asking for someone to get hurt by not issuing warnings. I don't get it. MLB swapped out Kellogg last night' crew chief which had to be done, particularly after his post-game comments. It would be best for the players to work this out by themselves rather than letting the umpires screw it up again.

Joe Buck likes Herrera's play. I like how Mike Carp caught Herrera's off-the-mark throw...

I can see how the wheels can come off for RDLR sometimes, but he does have good stuff, that's for sure. His breaking ball has actually looked good, and his FB and change are at least plus ... those are killer pitches.

brilliant way of hitting a Ray in the face Surprised the umps didn't throw AJP out of the game and issue catcher's warnings.

DeLArosa can get hurt if he leaves the ball up though, like any pitcher just about. His stuff is looking decent overall though. The way he holds that ball up there just before throwing doesn't seem like a plus to me. It's like "Here, track this with no deception".

Would it be really mean to drill Molina now? Apologize in advance. I'm a hockey fan.
