Interesting that Gibson is still in Pawtucket with Betts in the lineup.

Yes but Brown is in Boston. (No outfielders on the bench) . . . Josh Norris ?@jnorris427 1h So, the MiLB probables page has Eduardo Rodriguez starting for Portland tonight. And I'd heard Brian Johnson was scratched from his turn. Josh Norris ?@jnorris427 1h Either way, I'll be there tonight, so I'll see whoever is starting. . . . This says 7:05 PawSox ?@pawsox 1h PawSox face the Knights tonight in Charlotte at 7:05pm http://instagram.com/p/rcH4VtydqU

LOL, I of course should have said other than left fielders. Half the team has played LF this year.
Keep an eye on Rivero, I'd take his power over Gibson's speed for a taxi guy.

Ranaudo just gave up a 2 run HR. PawSox up 7-2 in the 4th. Swihart with his first AAA HR 9-2. Ranaudo giving it back, 9-4 now.

Portland did re-jigger the rotation.
Yesterday's game notes had the rotation, starting today, as Augliera/Rodriguez/Johnson/off/(presumably Diaz). Today's have it as Rodriguez/TBA(prob one of Boscan, McCarthy, or Kehrt)/Augliera/off/Johnson.
This could be how they're planning on dealing with guys approaching innings limits.

Your missing Haley. Looks like a plan to skip a turn for Johnson who pitched Tuesday. Rodriguez pitched Sunday so this is normal rest.
Ranaudo done after 6.1, 99 pitches/ 79 strikes. No pudding for Anthony 10H 4ER 1BB 5K 1HRA. PawSox up 9-4 after 7 GCLSox lost 3-2 Devers 1/3 BB, K
We can get Ryan back: Jesse Rogers ?@espnchicubs 18m Jacob Turner added to 40 man, Ryan Kalish DFA
PawSox up 11-5 bottom 9th. Mookie 3/4 2 2B BB

I am not missing Haley. He pitched yesterday and there are four games in the span I'm talking about beginning today. The game notes only list probables out for four days, or five if you're counting the day of (hence my insertion of Diaz).
I also just realized that the TBA might be Couch. His last rehab start was 4 ip on 8/4. Would be explained by the sudden switch from the plan and using TBA, although they might do that for a spot starter too.

Mookie 3/4 with a BB and 2 doubles, 2nd of which was off the top of the wall, a foot or so shy of being a home run...
Swihart just 1/5 with the 2 run bomb, but all four outs have been hard hit balls to center

If they do insert Couch, they have 7 starters including Haley and Diaz.

Britton is walking his way to a DFA by his performance of late.
In the 9th today: Ground out to 1st batter, walks the righty, single to the lefty, walks the righty, single to the lefty.
He needs to find some confidence or ask for his walking papers.

If they do insert Couch, they have 7 starters including Haley and Diaz. I count six (Johnson, Rodriguez, Augliera in addition to the three you mention). Boscan would slide back to the bullpen. My guess is that they'd piggyback Haley, but they may also skip turns to keep innings down.

I have suggested the same for the Red Sox in September.

6 with Boscan back to the pen. It'll be interesting to see how they play it. Maybe somebody will catch what Couch had when they activate him.

Through 3 still 1 hit and 1 BB and 5Ks. The other outs were two groundouts, and a foul pop out to first.
Carson Blair with his first AA XBH, a double and a BB. 2 games batting .500 with 3 BBs.
0-0 game isn't on MiLB.TV
Margot just tied it up with a line drive double. Game is on TV but only watching sometimes. LOL, doing God's work. 3-3 4th. Log says groundball double to SS, I must have missed something.
Betts2 2-2 with a HR. Spinners 3-3 6th.
Almanzar HR makes it 1-0 top of the 5th.

Rodriguez still dealing. Allowed 2 hits in the 5th. After 5, still 1-0. 3H, 3BB, 7K and impressive 4-0 GO to FO ratio. 88p/57s. Pitch count getting high.
Sam Travis streak on the line. Now 0-3.

9-2, Swihart with his first AAA jimmy-jack. Was at the game. This HR was at least a 420 ft laser hit from the left side to left center. He hit the ball hard all day with two other drives to the warning track that were caught. Very impessive day from him. Mookie was had three hits and looked as smooth as i have seen him play in the outfield. He took good routes and had good jumps on the balls he played, but didnt have any difficult plays to make. I was in right field and was interested to hear Hassan occassionally telling Mookie the play to make ("Go four if its shallow"). I took it that Mookie is still learning a lot about paying OF. Drake Britton...ouch.

Rodriguez likely done after 6. 100 pitches, 66 strikes. 3H 3BB 9K's and a 5-0 G0/F0 ratio. Still up 1-0.
Two game totals since the trade 11.1 IP 5H 1R 4BB 16K 10GO/4FO.
Boscan relieved so he's out of the starter mix. He also just gave up the lead.
Greenville tied it in the 9th. Margot 3/5 2B. Travis 0/5. Sturgeon 3/3 2 2B, BB. Coste with a HR. Oscar Perez Drive debut.
Drive lost 6-5, Perez took the loss.
Dogs down 4-1.
Spinners won 4-3.
Almanzar 2/4 2B HR. Making a case for the 40 man.
