Pete Abraham @peteabe 32m32 minutes ago
Koji threw 44 pitches. Fastballs, splits, a few sliders. Threw strikes, worked up and down. Good signs. 1st time facing hitters since injury
Pete Abraham @peteabe 13m13 minutes ago
Koji says he wants to throw one more live BP. Then he'll be ready to get in a game. He wants 5-6 outings in spring training. Feels great.

One of the biggest news stories from spring training will be the velocity on his fast ball. I'm praying it's 88ish.

Haha way to bring a post down. Either way, it's still crazy to see so many dynamic players playing for the same organization at the same time. The Sox probably have the best collection of 25 and under talent than any other team has in baseball right now.... I tend to be a glass half empty guy.....and not get too high or too low. History has dashed many a hope for me so I want it to happen, hope that it happens but don't bank on it happening. Still it's nice to see a good number of exciting prospects. I tend to be a realist, but in terms of baseball, enjoy being a full cup guy. Consider the reward already from being not just hopeful but confident in Betts, Bogaerts, Bradley, Buchholz, Holt, ERod, Owens, Pedey, Shaw, Swihart, Taz, Vasquez, Wright. There is pure joy in drinking a full cup of good news. For months I have felt that same full cup confidence in Barnes, Benitendi, Castillo, Hembree, Johnson, Light, Marban, Moncada, Travis. And, realistically, am hopeful to fill that cup again in 2016 for Acosta, Basabe, Devers, Espinoza, Jerez, Lakins, Longhi, Rei, Rijo, Stanky, Workman, among others.

I don't want to hijack the thread so I'll give the answer.
Rodriguez. As a kid he was a right handed pitcher but broke his arm and started playing sandlot baseball throwing from the left. the rest is history.
Edit: Jrff got it, good work.

Price isn't the only natural right-hander. I was led to this by following one of the links in Speier's Feb 23 rd newsletter.

I'll be down in Florida next week. My nephew's team is coming down from MA. to play games for a week. Guess this is pretty common. I had no idea. But it makes sense.

Old news but...
Three prospects with helium potential that have packed on about 20 pounds each of positive weight:
Anderson Espinoza Luis X Basabe Jagger Rusconi
Anybody know of any others ?

Encouraging to see Bradley attacking first pitch fastballs.
I am hoping he has a decent year at the plate because his defense is off the chains.

Kopech (I think) I'm betting Kopech is a top 40 prospect by the end of the season. His ceiling is as high as Espinoza's is. I think his suspension will be a blessing in disguise. I always thought, young raw pitchers with potential would benefit more from working on mechanics in a controlled environment, instead of getting game action. From what I heard he really improved his change up and cleaned up his delivery.

Sounds like Farrell's nice and focused on the season Seriously. They better get to a fast start, or Farrell is really going to be in trouble.

You must not read the Globe.
Anyhow, apparently Castillo is feeling better:
Tim Britton @timbritton 2m2 minutes ago Rusney Castillo was originally going to travel today, Farrell said, but he had to stay back to complete his physical.
Tim Britton @timbritton 3m3 minutes ago (Castillo had been too sick to go through the entire physical earlier in camp.) . . . I also saw a tweet that said Rodriguez is confident he'll be ready for opening day.
