Joe Kelly has zero command. It's a pretty consistent issue

Right on cue.
I don't really care much about Wright compared to many on this board, but I'm begging them to take Kelly out of the rotation before Wright. How long are we going to leave him in the rotation solely because he throws hard?

For anyone complaining about that HR, I just don't know how that could have been a better pitch.

Joe Kelly....52 pitches through 2+.
Lol looks like we are going to wear the pen down again today.
This pitching staff is truly unbelievably atrocious.

This is as pathetic as anything I've ever seen. There isn't a single pitcher on the staff who is capable of stepping up.

On a positive note, only 32 more games before Dombroski has enough of a sample size to assess the team.

For anyone complaining about that HR, I just don't know how that could have been a better pitch. Well, it could have been better if it had been thrown in an 0-2 count rather than a 3-0 count. Anyway, off-day coming up, anyone want to suggest we skip Steven Wright's start the next time through the rotation?

Shaw has really surprised me with his range. That wasn't hit hard but still pretty impressive.

For anyone complaining about that HR, I just don't know how that could have been a better pitch. It looked like it was the middle of the plate....low enough...but the issue is and has been......he can't miss enough bats.

There aren't many players who can inside-out a low and inside 93 mph fastball for a HR.

Chris Davis is a lowball hitter

Chris Davis is a lowball hitter And he hit it as far as Bucky Dent. Between that one and the two Hardy ones yesterday, things are just not going our way.

OK, now things are going our way with the soft ground ball double. I don't know that I'd call that soft.

OK, now things are going our way with the soft ground ball double. I don't know that I'd call that soft. Well, it probably bounced 12 times before it got to the wall, so I'll say he hit it really hard, but at a bad ground ball angle.

Unbelievable baserunning here tonight. You mean the 3 SB's, Pedroia easily making it from 1st to home on a 2B, and Mookie somehow avoiding that tag that would have made it a triple play? I agree.
