Yes and no. The immediate impact is the Nets are worse, but the move clears cap space (I think I saw that they have 55 mil now), so they can spend this summer and get better. Time will tell. Ok but who would want to sign there under the present conditions? Money talks (though it could lead to overpaying) and NYC is a draw for FA's from a marketing perspective.

Just saw this on Hoopshype, if it's true I kinda love it: One of the trade scenarios, a source said, is packaging Khris Middleton with veteran center Greg Monroe, whom the Bucks have been seriously shopping. It is known the Celtics have had interest in Monroe for a long time. In return for Middleton and Monroe, the Bucks could possibly acquire two first-round picks from the Celtics in today’s draft: Nos. 16 and 23, along with another player. 9 mins ago – via Woelfel's Press Box Never heard of Woelfel's press box though We keep #3 pick? That would be awesome, not sure why Bucks would do that though. Well they want to dump monroe for salary relief I think, so he'd almost reduce the return for Middleton. In fact I think that would be the reason they'd do it basically- we could send Bradley or Crowder, both of whom offer a reasonable approximation of Middleton's skill set, or even both, two picks and Amir Johnson's non-guaranteed contract to make the salaries match if necessary (though I'm not sure it would be). They love long-armed defenders who play hard, and dropping all that salary would give them a do-over shot at going for a free agent big, so maybe they pursue Horford with the cap space? Admittedly it would be a gamble on their part though and I don't think they would do it, but even just crowder, someone like rozier and 16 and 23 and opening up a ton of cap space is a better deal for them than I initially thought, even if I probably wouldn't take it if I were running the Bucks

For example I bet Sullinger would sign there for 15 million a year.

For example I bet Sullinger would sign there for 15 million a year. Exactly. They'll overpay on 1-2 year deals this summer because it won't interfere with their rebuilding timeline. Example: asking for the Tony Parker's of the world to be shipped there with an asset attached.

Ballsy pick, that's for sure. I don't follow College ball so why is it ballsy? There is very little feedback about the pick, anyone throw there 2 cents in.

I am enjoying his press conference. Well spoken, composed. I was hoping for a trade, but I don't hate the player. Hopefully he can develop a jump shot. And improve his decision making.

He had a mediocre year and can't shoot, but is a freak athlete with good size. Basically a huge risk/reward pick. #3 is pretty early for that kind of lottery ticket.

I thought I had talked myself into it but I didn't haha
Truth is there were big questions with all the picks which is why Dunn was least controversial

Hard to put into words how much I hate the Brown pick. Of all the possibilities that were being speculated about, to me this is the worst of the options.

Hah too funny, I saw the name Sabonis and thought of Arvydas. Then I saw a picture of Domantas and thought nope, not related. I was wrong haha.
Liked him at 16, but goes @ 11
