Pistons draft Ellenson who's a guy I very much liked before the draft. SVG is a G.

Thon Makers range per Ford pre draft was like 11 to 25 so going at 10 wasn't a huge shock. International guy we drafted had a range of late first to early second round.

And I heard a lot of talk about Hernangomez rising the last week or so. The only real shocker was the greek guy Sacramento got. Plus the point is the guy we took isn't so good you can't afford to take that chance. The odds you could have had him and someone else at 16 vs someone at 23 were high enough and losing him wouldn't be such a disaster it wasn't worth the small chance he'd go before 23.

I doubt Caris LeVert is going to screw up our lottery picks in 17 and 18.

Prince went 12 but was a late first projection. After top 8, the draft was supposed to be anyone's guess. I trust Danny over Ford any day.

Davis, Luwawu, Skal, Korkmaz, Brice Johnson, Murray, Zizic and Zubac. Still some players I like out there.

Davis at 23 just makes a ton of sense. Very raw but his skill set is just what we need.

I like the last two picks good work you couldn't have gotten both of them if u drafted someone else at 16 and I'm not missing of them that were available except maybe Davis

At least they went international, I like it. Guerschon Yabusele looks like a TE.

It really never gets easier watching the kids in the green room get passed over and over again. Except for Manziel, that was great.

Suns are stock piling talented bigs. Bender Chriss Labissiere
Add: So yeah, scrap that. No Skal.
But the first two guys were the big scores anyways.

Isn't Davis a classic Spurs pick?

Shouldn't ONE guy on ESPN have figured out that the Skal pick was the one Phoenix is trading to Sacramento?

(my guess would be Diallo)

31 and 35 for 2019 first round pick. I get why Skal fell, but why did Davis?

Don't love the trade-- think they got bad value, especially since early second-round picks have such favorable contracts.

Don't love the trade-- think they got bad value, especially since early second-round picks have such favorable contracts. Looks like the pick is lottery protected in 2019 and 2020. Still the Celts needed to push some of their assets into future years because they don't have space for 8 picks. A future low to mid-20s first round pick seems like a pretty good value to me. Second rounders rarely make it.

Was thinking that's why we drafted two international players. I wonder if one or both come over this year.
