What a travesty this is.

So are the umps paid off for this one?

He swung, but I don't think that's challengeable. Ridiculous.

There is absolutely no rhyme or reason about what plays you're allowed to challenge and what you're not.

1. This team has been pitiful against division opponents.
2. MLB umpires are the worst and should all be banned from the country. Losers.

Roboumps please. Screw CV and his pitchframing. Hasn't helped very much recently.

Umps have been downright awful this entire series.
This game should still be 1-0.

Bullpen is going to have to cover a lot of innings again.

To be fair, Vazquez mis-framed that. He tried to be too clever doing the "set up in one spot, shift last-second to another" thing. Funny that the ump adjusted for that on Papi when he ended the game on a strikeout instead of tying the game with a walk. And that was the worst mis-frame called for a strike I've ever seen in my life.

Have I mentioned how much I despise MLB umps? They deserve the worst.

That was a sneaky as hell home run. You forget how strong Xander is sometimes.

He swung, but I don't think that's challengeable. Ridiculous. Wait did they challenge or not? They challenged, but they could only challenge whether it actually hit him or not, and it definitely hit him in the hands. You can't challenge check swings.

As you might expect, Steve Lyons has no idea how the replay rules work.

All the line drives getting caught and all the calls going the other way. Dont like how this one is shaping up.

I like how Porcello kept it together that inning with the tough calls and tough luck. He's got his team still in the game.

I put the game on pause and went upstairs. Five line drives off Stroman, 4 outs recorded. Plus the ump.

That is some VINTAGE Pedroia right there. This guy has done so, so much for this organization. I could not be happier that he is healthy again. I think his contributions have been somewhat overshadowed by JBJ, Xander, Betts, Shaw, and Ortiz. This team is historically good position-wise.
