Good news is he didn't give up a homer at least, like he likes to do.

In related news, pitcher hitting is stupid.

In related news, pitcher hitting is stupid. I love it. Who wouldn't want to see Porcello bunt three foul? I mean, this spares us watching Big Papi's ABs.

In related news, pitcher hitting is stupid. But there's so much strategy in NL ball! Like deciding whether you want to see a guy embarass himself trying to get a bunt down or just strikeout normally.

Minor thing, but I feel like you shouldn't be allowed to call for time once the pitcher starts his windup.

Okay, so I'm out without access to a television and I hadn't yet checked the score. This made for a fun game of "guess the Red Sox score based on the overreaction of the gameday thread." I guessed San Fran 4, Boston 1. This is a great game to play, but you need some experience on here to begin to make educated guesses. I usually have to take what I think the score is and then subtract 2 runs from the opponent and add 1 run to us.

That only worked because Crawford is a lefty.

Also, overall not a bad outing by Porcello. He had some serious command issues and stuck it out without giving up the big inning.

Rutledge has been in a rut. Last 12 PA he's striking out 50% of the time with only 2 walks.

Ross in for a high leverage inning Only because it's a tie. If the Red Sox were winning they would need to turn to their Seventh-Inning Reliever.

The Sox need to learn to draft guys like this Strickland guy. I like Strickland. I'll never forget the gigantic HR Bryce Harper hit off him, that was one of the most insane things I have ever seen.
