If Sandy Leon were on the Royals, he'd probably be 2nd in All-Star voting by now, behind Perez.

Sandy might never not hit a ball. Good call 3/3

Everytime I see old buddy Ryan I'm reminded of this awesome Aqua Teen scene. He was a good prospect with an even better name, great to see he's still around.

Watching Xander go supernova has been my favorite development this season.

So did Dave and Steve point out that Bogaerts came into this series hitless in his last 15 at bats at Target Field? I know they love those small sample size statistics because they're so meaningful.

Remember when people used to argue who was the better prospect, Mookie or Xander? That was a great time because as it turned out, both camps were right. Both these dudes are bona fide stars.

Meanwhile, Ortiz continues to be the best hitter on this team.

Watching Xander go supernova has been my favorite development this season. I believe he may have taken the MLB lead in WAR today (Machado had a big day too though) MVP

It's not just the numbers either. His at bats are so impressive. So in control.
Not to mention heads up plays like that baserunning play today.

How long does it take for BABIP to normalize? He had 654 PAs last year and a .372 BABIP and now has a .405 in 278 PAs this year. I mean when can we call him Wade Boggs?

Sandy might never not hit a ball. Good call 3/3 4/4....looks like we have a new backup catcher til' the end of the season.

4/4....looks like we have a new backup catcher til' the end of the season. They may be able to use him as the pinch hitter for CV.
