I'll take it, but they should've scored more the 3.

I would've PH Young there. Hope 3 is enough in these condidtions. Getting slippery out there and any pitcher depending on touch and feel will be at a distinct disadvantage.

Meanwhile - some interesting implication games going on.
Baltimore woke up a bit - 2-1 Jays late. Cle and Det tied 3-3 Mets winning, Cards losing Brewers leading Texas

Rare to see Koji throw so many pitches in one inning. Three more outs. Get that champagne ready!

Baltimore just went up on the Jays 3-2! Yeah, all of a sudden we've got a twofer, with the invincible-this-year Britton for the 9th for the O's.

A Big Papi home run here would be such nice frosting on this cake....

Clay Buchholz came up absolutely huge today. What a comeback for him, I'm really, really happy for him, especially as the longest tenured guy after Ortiz and Pedroia.

Congratulations, everyone. This is a remarkable accomplishment. Worst to first - and what a ride it has been (but of course the best is yet to come)

That was a roller coaster. But nothing that happened during the year matters anymore.
The result, AL East Champs, again. Exactly how it should be.

I hope they brought two sets of champagne. One for clinching the division and another for eliminating these Jackasses.

Congratulations, everyone. This is a remarkable accomplishment. Worst to first - and what a ride it has been (but of course the best is yet to come) Should be fun watching the celebration after the game! I realize this is a young team. But this franchise has had enough recent success that winning a division shouldn't be that big a deal -- especially since they were already in the playoffs.
