That should be game. Awesome win. Once more until Cleveland. No chance Celtics win game 6 in Washington. None. Games in Washington this year: 93-118 108-123 89-116 102-121 Not one game has even been close. The closest game might have been the last one because it was tied at he half. Unless Washington decides to quit but more likely the Celtics just don't show up.

They're better than Washington, so hopefully they can avoid a game 7 where weird things happen.

I plan to bet on them losing by 15 plus so it will probably be a close game.

Yeah I'd love to get that monkey off their back. Have been at two of those (1 regular season and game 4) and it was brutal. Plus the "butter" they use on the Verizon Center popcorn, uh... "stayed with me" for a while the day after Game 4, if you catch my drift.
Of course I'll be out of town and can't go to Game 6. Oh well.

The Celtics are one win away from looking like a team that's ready to push Cleveland in a matchup (not win but push) and maybe show a max free agent that they can win almost instantly if they sign in Boston.
One more win to get to that goal, Ohh and the ping pong balls drop on Wednesday.
This week could decide the next 5 years for the Celtics. Really I'm not overstating this either. This is the most important week since the KG and Ray Allen trade week almost a decade ago.
It could go from losing in 7 games with a number 4 selection all the way to winning in 6 games with a number one selection in the draft and a lot of other scenarios in between these two situations.
At least get the number 2 pick with a game 7 win, but I'd rather go home in a game 7 scenario rather than lose out on that number one pick. I feel like the NBA finals for the Celtics this year is the ping pong balls dropping Wednesday. Just be good to us once ping pong balls!!!!

I don't think it's possible to make the money work on the team you laid out above. It is if you are willing to pay a luxury tax. Which the C's should be willing to do because next yr represents an opportunity. When is the next time the C's are going to have so many players signed below market value? Between IT, AB, JC and Smart you have a total cost of about 27 million when IT alone will exceed that the following yr. That groups cost may very well be in the 70+ million range the following yr. Isn't that an opportunity to go for it before they all need to be resigned and or lost? They could start competing for championships next year and hopefully keep it going for a while with good roster management and the growth of the picks.

Maybe I am wrong and it is just too much money when all added up but if it is possible they should go for it. IMO

I'm sorry not to jump ahead but this team is in no way ready to push a motivated Cleveland team.

Multiple chances to put it away and they sit back and wait for IT to be "King in the Fourth".
Turnover, block shot, tie ball game.

You can't turnover the ball like that. You just can't do that. Everything else happens, it's basketball. But that turnover can't happen and it possibly killed the season.

5 point lead and the Ball you just need a quality posession! Thats all they needed! Isaiah Thomas sh*t that game away! How can he do that after making all those amazing shots to get the 5 point lead? What an idiot!

I think that's harsh on IT. I think it's more that everyone in that arena knows that IT is the guy who is taking those shots (including Boston).
So while the other 4 Cs waited for him to be him, Wahington attacked him and made him NOT be him.

I'm fine with everything IT did there except the turnover. That turnover is unjustifiable.

Wall hit a huge shot, but it just seems they let one get away from them. I thought they had this one. Let's hope it doesn't come back to bite them.
