Somebody asked if Chavis would be considered "a great return" and he said yes fwiw.

Yeap The Sox could absolutely get a deal done for Frazier, even done by the end of the night like reported but all these fake reports will make a person's head spin. The Gordon Hayward decision day was the worst and probably the worst day of rumors in Twitter history. |

I think the return is BS but there is a lot of buzz that Frazier is coming. I read somewhere that it would be something like Ockimey, Darwinzon Hernandez and Lozada which sounded more realistic, lets wait. I like Ockimey a good deal but I could go for that kind of a deal. Hernandez is who I had in mind as being expendable for Frazier. |

Man the one thing I dislike about the trade deadline is waiting to get official reports. I like Frazier but those tweets have a major difference in price. Ockimey and Hernandez sound the most reasonable. Ball and Cosart would be a steal but I can't see the White Sox being dumb enough to take two players who might never make the majors. I rather not think about if it's Mata and Chavis. That's way too high a price

So the "reported" "packages" are anywhere from Mata & Chavis to Ball & Cosart? Talk about extreme.
Don't really want them to move Ockimey, but I'd get it if they did
Also, getting Frazier would almost certainly just be a rental, and they'd let him walk after this season, right? Because if that's the case, the Mata/Chavis combination would be brutal. Admittedly I'm not sold on Chavis and you'd be selling really high on him, but Mata has a chance, albeit still a long ways away, from being spectacular

I very much like the idea of sending 2 of the Rule 5 candidates, even 3 if necessary. Ball, Cosart, Hernandez, Shepherd, Buttrey, etc. Anyone but Callahan.

Sure, I'd prefer to keep quite a few interesting guys in the organization, but I'd be perfectly fine with giving up any two prospects not in the top 6 for Frazier.

I'm not trading Flores straight up for Frazier, nevermind add a Ockimey, Dalbec, Beeks, Johnson, Brannen, Scherff or Shawaryn. I wouldn't trade any of those guys for Frazier.
A couple of lower guys and I would gladly do it, otherwise no.
Edit there are a bunch of guys in the 20-40 range I wouldn't trade either.
