Letting the runner get to 2nd wasn't good either.

In the draft that we took Barnes we were one f**king pick away from taking Sonny Gray, who I wanted badly because I'm awesome and I knew he'd be great. One pick. Thank you Oakland.

Letting the runner get to 2nd wasn't good either. Nothing they could do there... Had to try and get the guy at home, and with it being a foul ball the running was ready to tag the whole time.

Farrell might lose us two games this series.

perhaps still not a chance to throw out Smith, and tougher for a lefty running at the angle he was, as compared to the line to the plate, but Benni needed to do a better job w the approach and footwork, setting up to make that throw, already moving towards the plate a bit, eliminate that little crows hop...

Amazing how when this team goes into a hitting funk, many of them forget to use the opposite field. Lots of harmless popups and fly balls result.

So that's a strike now? Cause it was a ball just a half inning ago.

Calling balls and strikes has become a bit of a random event

You got to pinch hit Vazquez with Sam Travis here. Come on Farrell.

Farrell is treating these games just like he treated the games after clinching last year. total buzz kill managing of the offense in non-use of PH.

Brilliantly played by Cash. Not confident there at all that Vasquez could drive the runner in.

Farrell is treating these games just like he treated the games after clinching last year. total buzz kill managing of the offense in non-use of PH. Using two catchers in a game is right up there with his phobias of switching the batting order or having a regular play a different position for a game (gasp).

Novel idea - let's walk the lead off man again. What could go wrong?

Ok, the plate ump worked as speed bump before this job, right?
