Can we talk about this logo for a minute? Who approved this? I get the concept and it’s fine, maybe even good, but my god. Couldn’t they have just gotten a tattoo artist to design this thing so the snake didn’t look like crap? What are those circles? Why is the snake chopped in segments? Why doesn’t the body flow? Maybe this is copied from an historic picture that I’m overlooking but even still they should have modernized it and made it look good. Yeah, it looks cut up and it shouldn't. That and the confetti drop make for bad looks. Like Simmons missing the dunk, talk about a bad look. This team hasn't looked good.

This might be a bit early but if we have any chance at beating Lebron someone or 2 is going to have to guard him. Who will that be? Do the Celtics just sweep at this point? We can beat Lebron and I wouldn't even be surprised. The Cavs still aren't anything to write home about, I know they look impressive going up 3-0 and the Lebron heroics look insurmountable, but games 1 and 3 of that series were both terrible and the Raptors should really be ashamed of themselves for their lack of competitive spirit. The Celtics won't do that. If they fight the screens and take away their shooters, the Cavs are toast. They had 2 similar players to Lebron in Giannis and Simmons and guarded them reasonably well. I know Lebron is obviously better than them, but honestly you guard him just as you guarded these guys. Maybe put Smart on him more often to go for steals when he drives, the Raptors had some success attempting that last night. Of course you don't guard Lebron, you try to contain him a bit, but I don't know man I like our chances. I like our chances a lot.

LeBron would be guarded by Morris. Morris has been one of the best defenders on LeBron the past few years.

With the continued development of Tatum and Brown the Celtics will have 5 all star level players going in to the playoffs next year.

LeBron would be guarded by Morris. Morris has been one of the best defenders on LeBron the past few years. Absolutely. I fully expect a mix of Morris getting the main load with Smart, Horford and Semi from time to time. Like I said, they guarded Giannis and Simmons pretty well so that should bode well for the ECF. I love the enthusiasm. "We can beat Lebron and I wouldn't even be surprised." Sounds funny given the C's don't even have their 2 best players. Let the Magic Carpet ride continue. We totally can. Toronto is playing some gritty but bad defense overall and their offense has been ungodly awful. The Cavs aren't fixed, they're still the team that should have been eliminated by the Pacers.

I hope the Celtics can get past LeBron aka "Megatron," but he is a beast in the postseason and unfortunately he is still in his prime.

What a blowhard!! He attacks the defensive position as hard as anyone, what about the guy who has position and he is lowering his shoulder and bowling guys over. The hell with him!!

Then someone should tell him to play big instead of trying to Steph and hit top the arc 3s.

I like Embiid, but he needs to shut his mouth. He had a bunch of plays that I thought were offense fouls that he got away with. Those Horford blocks weren't surprising because Embiid moves so slow in the paint. Some plays like those Dunks he shows how athletic he is for his size. Thing is in the post when making moves he looks like Roy Hibbert. He needs to learn how to make moves faster and it wouldn't hurt if he would actually pass out of the post either. I'd love to see how he does against a strong defender that is a really good shot blocker.

www.weei.com/blogs/alex-reimer/kyrie-irving-trade-talk-isnt-totally-crazyI have to agree. I argued this past off-season to consider trading Eduardo Rodriguez for his knee issues. Well, I'm kind of doubling down and will want the Celtics to do the same with Irving and his knee issues. Knees, backs, hips, shoulders, and some feet problems (depending on the injury, Achilles for example) are problems that don't tend to go away. I don't see a high chance of the Celtics doing it, but if the price is there, I'd do it and trade Kyrie. Plus, Rozier has shown no injury history and has trended upward.

Trading Kyrie is equally idiotic. What are you going to trade him for pennies on the dollar?

The trade Kyrie narrative is preposterous.

I am beginning to think that Leonard is headed to Cleveland to play with Lebron.
Trading Kyrie is a terrible idea IMO.
Like I said yesterday the C's will potentially be going into the playoffs next year with 5 all star quality players. Don't mess with it, trade Rozier and whatever picks ir takes to get 1 of the 5,6 bigs in this draft.

What do the Duke fans think of Trevon Duval? He sounds like a Celtic guard.

This is the worst officiating crew. No idea what the NBA is thinking keeping them together.

This is the worst officiating crew. No idea what the NBA is thinking keeping them together. It's a miracle that the Celtics are in this game knowing how half their team has at least 2 fouls each.
