I really hope Cora doesn't leave Pomeranz in too long this inning so he can "get the win." In fact if it were me I'd be pulling him right about now... Well that was the most predictable thing ever.

When Wright comes back I might even consider designating Pomeranz. It's early in the season, but it is quite clear that he is not the same pitcher as last year. This probably shouldn't happen, but it isn't beyond consideration.

He’ll likely always be frustrating, but he will likely be fine.

If there was ever a double play that was needed, it'd be needed now.

I'll take a strikeout. That is okay too.

The Sox just can't make it easy for themselves.

Pomeranz is right up there with Buchholz as far as being difficult to watch. It would be great if someone like Wright or Velazquez could stick as a solid #5, as Pomeranz’s stuff would seem to be better served out of the bullpen. It’s such a labor for him, and his stuff never looks right after a time or two through the order.

What to do with Vazquez and JBJ?
There is no answer for the Vazquez problem.

What to do with Vazquez and JBJ? There is no answer for the Vazquez problem. Start working Swihart in more, and if he proves capable, dump Vazquez. Vazquez is the worst baseball player I've ever seen (and that's hyperbole, yet I still seem to believe it).

Yeap, been complaining about Vazquez since week 2 and it seems like he's getting worse after that.

Excellent from Hembree. Glad to see it. I think there is something there with the guy, just have to temper expectations. Maybe he can get on a hot streak.

My god Vazquez. They need you to hit a ground ball to the right side, not a freaking pop up.
