I can't relate to any of that. My whole life, I've averaged less than 4 hours sleep per day and never had any desire for it to be otherwise and that includes when I was working 100+ workweeks. Now I usually sleep about 1 1/2 hours when my wife goes to bad then get up until about 5am for another 1 1/2 then 1 hour at noon. That works for me. If I oversleep that, I always feel like garbage. Omg...you have the holy grail of sleep patterns. Needing sleep annoys me, but less than 7-8 hr and I get dysfunctional. You are lucky as hell. EA Poe is rolling in his grave with envy. 😂😂😂 I have another holy grail which might have been an agent orange thing but it's great. My Vegas nerve sends weird signals to my heart. Like most people, when I sit up from lying down,my heart rate increases but when I go from sitting to standing (and not walking), it decreases back to similar to lying down. My body is basically in rest mode, sometimes to the point that I almost faint but that's easy to control, I just walk or flex my butt if I'm in a queue.

Bunt was the right play with Mookie coming up. Poor execution from Sandy i don't know. you have to factor in that the pitcher is not pitching well. I think the biggest factor is Sandy Leon slashing .161/.230/.214 in July. Give him a chance to do something productive. He needs to get the ball down the line... No problem with Devers bunting yesterday either, push it past the pitcher and JD walks home. Ball ran in and jammed him. Tough break. Players have to execute...

I really don't care about his struggles at the plate too much as long as he plays D like that and has a couple good to great months at the plate each year I'm happy!!

LOL, Hunter totally disagrees with Statcasts 42% catch probability. In his words,"no chance" and Tori knows a thing or two about playing CF.

Devers' seemed like his injury is a strain, not a big pull on his hamstring that's anything serious. He'll need some time off, but not very long (wouldn't surprise me if he came back after the 10 day DL stint is up). The Sox should be thinking second baseman here. You really don't have the room for Beltre when Devers comes back either. This team is already having a roster crunch. Give me Kinsler if you're going for a straight salary dump like UMass keeps pointing out. If you want to give up nothing, then he's your guy for a really big upgrade. I like Dozier, but the smart play with no farm system is probably Kinsler, especially if you're going to go for a reliever that costs a lot or a little via trade. Also, Dombrowski has a history with trading for Kinsler in the past. Dombrowski shown a history of sticking to guys he's familiar with. Sure you do. You don't need two long relievers and an eight-man bullpen, so you can option Velazquez and go back to a four-man bench. You can trade or DFA Nunez, or hide him on the DL until September, and have both Holt and Dozier, and Devers and Beltre, plus Swihart and Pearce.
Now, if their reluctance to trade for a 2B is because Dustin Pedroia is secretly a lot closer to returning than anyone is aware of, I'm OK with that. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) That would actually make it defensible. The Sox aren't optioning Velazquez. They haven't done that all year. The Sox can't DFA Nunez because Devers is on the DL.

Holt was mad but credit where it's due... that was just a filthy pitch with an unreal amount of movement.

Lots of called strikes in the last two at bats. Disappointing to say the least.

Swihart needs to be the #1 catcher or at the very least evenly split the starts with Leon. That bat play too well to be i just 3 games a week.

Holt seems to take more 3rd strikes than anyone in recent memory. You have to put the ball in play with less than 2 outs and runners in scoring position.

Swihart is really upping his trade value or his value to the Red Sox. He looks like he could play anywhere on the field.
