Wow is right and good for them. Guy is a jerk Big blow talent wise for the Chiefs. They got a lot weaker. Chiefs looked like the team of destiny in the AFC before this happened. Could be a game changer for the conference. I'd be ticked at this scumbag if I was a Chief's fan today. Patriots look all of a sudden better this year by default now because the league is filled with garbage who can't keep their act together.

It’s going to be hard for me to not root for the Chiefs now. Not saying I want them to beat the Patriots, but the Chiefs winning the SB this year without Hunt would be a huge statement and could possibly help teams do what they should do going forward.

The other part of this has me all twisted up. I’m only going to talk from the Chiefs side because F the NFL. They take a players word for something like this and stop the investigation, but they go full on FBI vs the MOB on Tom Brady because of some air pressure.... the Chiefs on the other hand...
Part of me says, they should have found that video themselves and/or done a much better job of investigating the incident to figure out what really happened. I’m not one of these people that gets into “who do you believe?” type discussions. Sorry, but I need real evidence before I’m punishing someone for sexual assault or domestic violence, even if I believe the accuser. I blame the Chiefs for not getting the evidence either because they are inept or intentionally ignorant. Both are bad; I don’t need to speculate as to where they fall. But until they had that or any evidence, they should not have disciplined Hunt.
The other part of this is that some are saying this woman was a racist who dropped racial slurs and attacked him first which is why he was set off. That may or may not be true, but even if it were two things can be true at once. She can be a racist POS and he can be a POS man who can’t control his emotions and beats on a woman. Can you imagine what he would have done to her without all those people holding him back? That was way more than an adrenaline rush rage reaction.

I'm not sure if I'm totally on board from the Chiefs side of things.
If Hunt came out and was truthful and admitted to everything he was caught doing, then he might be suspended a bunch of games by the league and he still might be a Chief today. Who knows it's probably 2 or 3 games because the league value woman beaters, rather than deflated footballs.
Maybe the Chiefs truly have a no tolerance policy for these things, but I'm HIGHLY skeptical considering he was one of their 2 or 3 best players on their team.
I think they released him more due to the fact that he lied about what happened.

Can you imagine what he would have done to her without all those people holding him back? That was way more than an adrenaline rush rage reaction. There is absolutely no scenario whatsoever that would assuage what he did. She could have used every single racial slur known to man and it would still be intensely wrong to beat the living sh*t out of her. Good move for the Chiefs for being decisive about this, Kareem Hunt is an asshole and he belongs in jail, not in a NFL roster. I wish the Cowboys had the guts to do the same thing.

Good for the Chiefs sending a very clear message. Yet they took his word and did nothing to find out the truth. They knew what happened and it seems could have rather easily found out the truth. Yet only took action after a video showing Hunt going crazy on a women. Heck that Video makes the Ray Rice one look mild. That was just a punch after his girls came at him. Crazy wrong but it was like self-defense. Hunt was like full on UFC on that women.
So while I give the Chiefs some credit after the fact. They still looked the other way and would have supported a women beater if not for that Video. The owner was defending the guy, saying he's just young. Not like they had any choice in this matter, not after that video. He might never play again.

Ray Rice knocked out his girlfriend. Literally clean clocked. They were both horrible, but Ray Rice deserved years in jail for that.

I really hope the NFL finally starts kicking these a holes out of the league permanently. Zero tolerance.

Coming at him slapping and hitting him from what I remember. Yea what he did was crazy bad, but it was just more of a reaction type thing. One punch, Hunt litterally attacked a women, then kicked her after attacking her while see was on the ground. All because what she mouthed off? Both are very bad, but for me Hunts is waaaaay worse. He wasn't defending himself, he just went off and destroyed a women over words. How the police didn't press charges is beyond me.

I’ve done that before with a crazy ex.

You don't use her as one of those punching machines where you put all your force into one punch and knock that person out. He literally dragged her afterwards instead for calling for help too. Just cold blooded stuff right there.

I don’t want to get into the semantics of what is worse, but Ray Rice came clean and told what happened. The Ravens and NFL did nothing until it got public.

Sure, they deserve SOME credit, but even their own statement says they released him because he lied, and not because he assaulted this woman.

The Vickings didn't release Adrian Peterson after he got suspended for a year. He just didn't come out and apparently lie about it.
I don't trust any of the scumbag owners and their "conscious decisions" to be honest.

That Minnesota TD is on McDaniels. You have third and inches and try to get cute - he’s such a dummy.

Only the Chiefs did the right thing at the right time.

There have been 3-4 horrendous officiating calls made thus far, as if each one were a makeup call for the one before it. Both teams should be upset.

I’d love to hear any explanation at all on how that 4th down play was not reversed. He didn’t even get to the line of scrimmage, let alone gain another two feet. I bet the NFL wouldn’t let Mike Pereria talk about it. Also, the Vikings whine and cry more than just about any team.

If you read Bill's lips, he told the guy "to go f*ck himself" when the wide receiver went up to him. It was awesome. That was honestly the best overall game the Pats had all year. Sony Michel and Gronk is staying. We even had a Burkhead sighting. Good stuff.

He's just not what he was even a year ago.
