Wilfork is a borderline HOF. I don't know if the Pats will ever replace that guy. He was fun to watch and it was really funny watching running backs run into that wall back in the day.

I just realized Larry Fitzgerald is a free agent, if he doesn’t retire I wonder if the Bb LF love affair finally happens

Chargers versus Patriots next week. I'd be hugely disappointed if the Pats can't get past them at home. They had the better record but looked very underwhelming against Baltimore, who also looked bad.

Good call there.

Bring on the Chargers. If the Colts beat KC, there will be no excuses for not making it to Brady’s 9th Super bowl.
I know i’m getting ahead of myself here but have a tough time seeing us hang with the Rams or Saints at that point. The Pats have looked old and injured this year.

As long as the Patriots have Tom Brady and Edelman, they have a fighting chance. Maybe Gronk has 3 more great games left in him. They usually let the training wheels off of him in the playoffs. Be interesting to see how they look now that it's serious now. Win or go home.
Yes, give me the Colts.

I can't believe what I just saw in the Eagles game.

Pedrofan my dude you don't want that. You want the playoffs underachiever Andy Reid without Kareem Hunt. You take the Chiefs here. This is not the Pagano led Colts or even the mega head Colts. Compare how skinny and unassuming Chris Ballard looked prior to the season to how crazy jacked he looks right now. He could storm the field and give his team 10 solid tackles and a sack and he's been mulling sh*t since the offseason. I can't believe what I just saw in the Eagles game. It was absolutely amazing and I damn nearly turned off the game when their drive quickly stalled mid 4th. Then I remember who it was on the field and yeah, absolutely unbelievable. If I'm the Saints here I'm totally letting the Eagles take a big lead early, you do NOT want to face them under any kind of adversity.

Don, Andrew Luck has faced Tom Brady 2 or 3 times in the playoffs in his career. I think the point differential has been around 20 points favoring the the Patriots each playoff game. Brady has absolutely owned Luck to this point. Maybe every dog has his day, but it's been a slaughter when it has come to the Pats versus the Colts lately throughout the years after Manning left.

Different leadership now and a completely different team. The Colts probably lack top level talent to be a really serious threat, but if I had to pick a team right now to face it would be the post-Hunt thing Chiefs.

The Pats are 3-5 on the road including some losses to some pretty bad teams

The Pats are 3-5 on the road including some losses to some pretty bad teams Oh I didn't consider that. You're right, home advantage could be huge. We'll see, this post-season has been crazy and great thus far.

Lol so apparently Luck isn't the only one that has never beaten Brady.
Andrew Luck is 0-6 against Brady and the Pats
Phillip Rivers is 0-7 against Brady and the Pats
Maholmes is 0-1 against Brady and the Pats.
That's just unbelievable. Man, I love Brady's ownage in this league and it's the one thing in sports I'm going to miss when he's gone.

Heres the counter to most of that though: 1) Luck has never had a team as complete as this one. 2) Rivers too 3) Maholmes is a one game sample and it was away vs what will be at home. The Pats have a difficult road to the SB then an every harder one to win it. It’s possible but so is an exit Sunday.

This is the best Colts team of the Luck era but I'd say the 2006 Chargers (and probably 07) were clearly better/more talented than this current Chargers team, not that it has anything to do with this game. So much depends on Melvin Gordon's health (and to a lesser extent Ekeler), Jackson is a capable back but if Gordon looks like he did against the Ravens their offense is much less dangerous.

Even if true 06 was Rivers first season playing, as he sat behind Brees for 2 years.

The 06 Chargers were loaded and they were at home. Its a shame we blew it vs Indy that year because we would've stomped on the Bears.

I just can't handle NFL officiating. I'm not going to remain a fan for much longer. The Colts just got called for running into the kicker, giving the Chiefs a 1st down and basically ended the game. He didn't touch the kicker until the kicker fell down on his own and hit the guy's foot on the way down. He was laying face down not moving when the contact was made. That is not running into the kicker.

If the goal is to get things right then limiting what you can challenge is kind of silly.
