This is a 100% true story: One time my sister-in-law and her boyfriend broke up during a vacation to Ireland. And then a volcano erupted in Iceland and the smoke made flying across the North Atlantic impossible so they were stuck there for an extra week. Together. Trying to enjoy Ireland, despite the fact things had gone horribly and irreparably awry.
That's Craig Kimbrel and me right now. We can't continue this relationship, but neither of us is getting off this damn island. So let's make the best of it and not die.

What an outstanding baseball game, on both sides. This series has been awesome. Yeah one of the best game I've ever watched. The work this offense did tonight was unbelievable. The last 2 runs especially were bonkers. And it's deliciously ironic that the game was even still a thing thanks to a terrific catcher by a former Red Sox OF prospect but it ended on an equally amazing catch by the OF they didn't trade. |

Just a heads up if you take it and feel groggy for like 36 hours after like I do. 300 mcg is proper dosage and most OTC pills are 10mg. |

TBS talking about the interference. Showed from 2 angles. From the left of Betts it looks like the fan reach slightly over the fence and interfered, but from the other angle it looks like Betts reached over the fence. I think the officials would've confirmed whatever call was made on the field.

That was a truly great game, great win, great catch to win it...but the Kimbrel thing is killing me. Cora could not possibly have thought leaving Kimbrel in there was the best chance to win this game, right? It's worked out a few times now, but more by sheer luck than anything. We CANNOT keep doing this. I don’t know what’s crazier, that Cora went to him for six outs tonight, or that he somehow got away with it. The Red Sox have won six games this postseason and Kimbrell by all rights should have blown half of those. It’s mind boggling what they’ve gotten away with so far. |
