TBS post game commentators appear not to understand the rule. The ball is either fan interference and an out or it’s a homer. Btw, it can’t be a double. It can’t be considered if Mookie would have dropped it. The fan hit his glove inferring with the catch. The only question is if the fan it Mookie beyond the yellow boundary. I think those fans had their arms outstretched, but I can see how others disagree.

Thanks for the heads up. I've got my fingers down my throat... No need, Kimbrel won't have to pitch until tomorrow. Got it! Go for the empty stomach....

So how much money, if any, has Kimbrel cost himself this postseason.?

Damn, the more I watch this play the more it's obvious Mookie isn't even close to being beyond the wall. Of course Gary Sheffield, professional Nyquil drinker, sees the opposite. There were at least 3 hands over the yellow line and in the field. There were hands touching his glove before he went over that line.

Seriously, if I hear one more idiot declare that it was a bad call because Mookie was reaching into the stands or the fans weren't reaching into the field of play when the opposite is so clearly evident, I will rip my hair out. One of the fans is literally bracing himself as he reaches out by holding onto the top of the wall! Not to mention the fact that Mookie doesn't even make contact with the wall until he's almost back down to the ground.

I don’t know what’s crazier, that Cora went to him for six outs tonight, or that he somehow got away with it. The Red Sox have won six games this postseason and Kimbrell by all rights should have blown half of those. It’s mind boggling what they’ve gotten away with so far. Absolutely, this has been unbelievable. Rationally I'd say this is going to cost them a game eventually. I mean, what are even the odds of this? McCann fly is probably a homer at MFY stadium, Gary Sanchez also would have gotten that over the monster, it feels like someone is save scumming reality. On the bright side, this could mean discount Kimbrel for his next contract. I know we probably don't want this right now, but seriously I wouldn't be down on resigning him for another year at a reasonable salary.

Personally, I think if Porcello didn't pitch the other day and Sale didn't come in the game in relief we probably would have gotten better starts from both of them. Now we blew Price's start. I probably would have come back with Barnes and saved Price. I get the benefits but what about the costs?

Cora has balls bigger than my head Hmm. I'm not sure that was balls. I was hoping it wasn't possible that he and Kimbrel might owe money to the same bookie. Thanks Beni for allowing me to purge the thought.

We came back from 0-3 and 1-3 down to win series in 2004 and 2007 respectively. Yogi was a very wise man...

I want to know what Cora was doing with Price. The bases are loaded, Bregman is up. Price is in the bullpen warmed up. Tying run on second and a single probably ties it. At what point is Price coming in? And if he's not coming in, why are we wasting his arm getting warmed up?

Mookie looked like Roberto Clemente on that throw. Some great defense in this series. It's been epic. Gotta give some cred to scoring this many runs against their pitching as well.

Kimbrel is really hurting his value here He’s literally probably losing millions of dollars with each appearance right now. So... resign Damaged Goods Kimbrel for 4y/48?

Yeah I'm borderline not even offering the QO to Kimbrel this offseason. This is stupid.
