I feel like I only like that trade because they still pick at 77. Otherwise 73 to 87 is a bit of a drop to only get pick 162 (5th round) and a 2020 4th rounder.
Well Sternberger's gone so I don't even know who I want them to pick at 77. lol Grier?

He went two picks before and when they traded back it was clear he wasn't their guy. Still a bunch of good TEs left. |

The Pats could have had him with the other pick that they traded, but they couldn't have had him with the pick they used to get Winovich, so those things aren't really correlated. Now if you want to propose that the Pats should have used the first pick to get Sternberger instead of trading down, that's another debate. |
