Actually makes me feel better about his prospects of behaving here.

How about Gardner Minshew coming in for Nick Foles who left with a broken clavicle? 6th round pick goes 22-25 for 275 yards with 2 TD 1 INT and a 122.5 passer rating. That's kind of ridiculous for a 6th round pick playing in Week 1. I imagine that will change when teams can prepare for him, but still impressive. Sucks for Foles. He's out for months now.

Lol, the Dolphins might be the worst team in the NFL. Getting blown out. The Bills and Jets with no offensive points through a whole half of football. The division is so bad. The Patriots would win it with a cheerleader as a QB. Not surprised by Dolphins, traded away three key starters on cut down day, plus released four other starters from last year's team before that. That was a bad team last year, so he's going full on rebuild. What I don't get is starting Fitzpatrick when you are going full on rebuild. Start Rosen, see what you have. That's the point of a full on rebuild acquire picks and get the young guys playing time so you know what you have in the future. Now though they have so little talent on offense it's going to be hard for him to look good.

The Dolphins are playing him because they probably want to lose.

IMO this is not like any of the other reclamation projects they have had (a slight similarity to one of them which I'll get to). Dillon, Moss, Harrison, Gordon? They all had/have their issues. The common thread? They all wanted to play football and win (in many of their cases, it was that lack of winning that contributed to their issues). Do we really think winning and playing football is at the top of AB's list of priorities? Cause I'm not so sure? Social Media? General entertainment (I only watched 1 episode but he was the 1st to be eliminated from the Masked Singer)? I think he wants that. Winning football? Need to see it. So he reminds me more of Albert Haynesworth. Amazingly talented but maybe doesnt have the motivation (or maybe not anymore). That failed miserably (though the difference is that his lack of motivation came with horrible fitness which is NOT the case with AB). Right now, the Pat's best chance is that he realizes how close he came to 30 million and all he has to do is lock it up this year, get the full 15 and then land a big contract with guarantees next year. I agree with a lot of this but it’s hard to question his motivation to be great when he’s notoriously one of the hardest workers in the league. The guy is a physical machine and that’s due to hard work and dedication to your craft. No doubt he has other distractions but that can be true along with his motivation to be great. There’s no one that trains harder than him - you don’t do that unless you have a ridiculous drive to be great. My doubt is based solely on his actions this offseason. Just seemed like he doesnt care about football anymore.
