I wonder if Pedey gets back and can stick.... and be effective.... if the Sox will platoon Devers and Chavis at 3b? Pedroia and effective? That ship sail.

We really are watching the offense hit rock bottom. Completely overmatched.

We really are watching the offense hit rock bottom. Completely overmatched. They are in most innings on most nights very sad THe current NYY team is a lot better hitters than our starters and they are all subs

Pearce doesn't really do anything but strikeout or hit the ball weakly on the ground

How can basically the whole team be a shell of what they were even 6 months ago?

Taken as a whole, that isn't a bad start for Sale...

It is amazing that Sale can be effective throwing mostly sliders with a few 91mph "fastballs" mixed in. Makes you wonder how good he would be doing what he is now with 99mph mixed in? Will we find out? is there a plan? Is he holding back velocity or is this just what he is now?

Sale really pitched his way through this game ...now would be a good time for the offense to chip in

wow Starting the 7th with 102 pitches I guess they truly have zero concerns for his health This makes me feel better Maybe it is a plan and not health?

I'm sure there must be a good reason to trot Sale out for the 7th with 101 pitches, but for the life of me, I can't imagine what it is.

I don't think I'll have time to look at the game on my DVR. Is there any explanation for why he was awful for 2 innings and dominant for 5? Was he just slow in figuring out what to throw?

Didnt have velocity but would have left with game tied.

Why bring in Hembree when we need to keep the game close?
