12 earned runs charged to Tanaka...YES telecast just said that's the most allowed by a yankees starter since 1939

I told my teen age son Rafi would be better than Vlad jr. He looked at me like I was nuts. Feeling better about that everyday.

There we go, Moreland. I like putting 11 up on their garbage-ass starting pitcher. I’d legitimately be happy if it was a five hour game because the Sox score 23 runs. Bury them. Deep. In a hole with garbage and sewage and medical waste. Make their mothers cry.

Let this be like a reverse 1978 Boston massacre.

I had to go do errands when it was 3-0. Coming back to a score that is so beautiful my eyes are watering. GO SOX GO.

That's right, throw out the aggressive hitting approach against these Yankees. They rely on getting chases. Take the walks.

Good night for someone to hit for the cycle with so many at bats.

Name the last lefty that hit a 437 foot home run to that far to the opposite field. That was just as impressive as the Chapman HR. Papi

I hate this crap that the Yankees are trying to pull with the timeouts, and I'm glad that the ump (mostly) isn't letting them do it. As soon as the pitcher enters his windup, no ump in the league should grant a timeout. It's unsportsmanlike.

It's just theoretical since we don't have statcast back.

Porcello is at 96 pitches. Does he go back out? I bet no. Abuse an end of the bench arm. Porcello hasn't been completely awful. Know when to fold 'em.

You don't think Papi ever hit one out of Fen way the opposite way? It's just theoretical since we don't have statcast back. He hit it out all the time, but I don't think they were destroyed. If it happened, it was rare. They were typically balls that most hitters foul off. He just "fouled off" pitches over the Monster.
