As much as I'd love to be upset about the blown dead fumble taking away a TD, I'm sure there are fans in Jacksonville laughing because that's a bit of karma for a bad call that really helped New England in the playoffs a few years ago. A game they likely might not have won without that bad blown dead fumble that would have been a TD call. Lol fans in Jacksonville - they exist? 😜

I bet there are more Pats fans in Jacksonville than Jacksonville fans.

The refs have stolen two touchdowns from the patriots due to what can only be stated as sheer incompetence. It’s just one bc it’s the same drive but yes they stopped them twice there Yeah, it would have only ended up being 7 points due to the points in the game they were at. Better way to phrase it would be they stole a touchdown twice.

The Pats have certainly benefited from some tough calls over the years, but that’s not really relevant here. The problem isn’t that those awful calls cost the Pats a good chance at this game - it’s that these inexplicable game-changing calls are happening in primetime games at such a consistent rate. It’s taking a toll on the credibility of the NFL’s product.

The Harry nonTD should have been reviewed as it was a possible scoring play and those guys were looking at each other to make the call. Someone should have had the presence of mind to realize it but the moment was too big for them to use their heads.
Flip side, GET HARRY THE BALL, stop this madness of not at least letting him compete.
I hope Karras is coming back because the interior line was terrible.
This team fights, ot should I say our D fights.

I don't care if you've got to call a jet sweep to get him the ball, just put it in his hands and see if he can create offense and give the defense another look/threat. He can't even get snaps let alone touches.

You mean to tell me, after watching the Pats WRs not be able to get open, that putting him on the outside 1 on 1 and either run go or hitch routes it wouldn't be better than what they were doing? This is where I get mad at Tom and Josh about not working him in because the trust isn't there, do something to make it happen!! Get him touches, he has made some big plays with very limited targets. Focus on what he can do not what he can't and design some stuff to get him involved, why not when what they are doing hasn't worked. Did I miss something, did he come in with an entitled 1st rd pick attitude?

Spygate 2.0 is looking to be as frustrating as the original and deflategate. Probably more so because there was less ill intent and less rationale for ill intent. I hate the crap that comes with this team, and the media hubbub that causes most of it.

I hate the crap that comes with this team, and the media hubbub that causes most of it. I don't buy it for one second. The Patriots informed the Bengals they would be there, guys wearing a Patriot shirt and it's the Bengals maybe the worst team in the league. It's just idiots like Max Kellerman that hate the Patriots. Do we think Bill is a moron? To believe this after what already happened, you'd really have to think Bill is stupid. Last time Patriots were one hundred percent truthful, handed over all tapes and seven years worth of notes. This time Bill states 100% he had nothing to do with it and hasn't ever seen a tape that these guys recorded. If they were going to do this, they would be much smarter about it no? I have to believe either this guy didn't know what he was doing or just went rogue like one of Josh McDaniels employees with Denver. I don't buy for one second Max's take that they did it because they have a new coach.

Did I miss something, did he come in with an entitled 1st rd pick attitude? I 100% agree Harry needs more routes like that, it's what he does well. Kinda shocking that was the first one all year. At the same time WRs were getting open all game long against the Chiefs. Dorsett was beating guys deep all game long, Meyers got open four times, but dropped two balls and got that huge pass interference call. Sanu is the only guy that I didn't see getting open a ton. Brady missed some throws, guys dropped balls and the Chiefs did a ton of pass interference all game long. Let's hope this was a turning point game. Like I hope Brady realizes that Ball to Meyers in the endzone needs to be a little bit higher for a big guy like him. Edelman likely catches it, but that's crazy hard for big guys.

I hate that I'm delving into this but I'm compelled.
To be clear, the Patriots did NOT inform the Bengals and they have admitted as much. They were credentialed by the Browns but nobody informed the Bengals.

I'm not even going to give it the time of day to read about it, media noise! That media noise has lost the Patriots 2 first round picks in the past. So yeah, pretty bad media noise with a lot of implications attached.

I had read that they didn't know someone was going to be there until he was spotted (maybe there has been an update).
EDIT - Yeah the Patriots statement literally says that they failed to notify the Bengals and the league.

So yeah, pretty bad media noise with a lot of implications attached. Umm we did Spygate and the Media was pissed because the NFL destroyed the tapes. That wasn't media noise, heck the media thought there was a cover up. Deflate gate was nothing, but NFL leaks to the media made it take off. The NFL used the Media to make us look guilty and never backed down even when proof showed the balls were normal. Heck an NFL employee said we got them during the Colts game. So far there are zero leaks from the NFL, heck I've seen multiple articles say it was nothing just a misunderstanding. The only people running with this are Patriot haters. There really isn't any Media noise like with deflate gate, not even close because there are no NFL leaks that make us look guilty.

They notified the Browns and were Credentialed to record a Patriot video about an advanced scout team. They weren't sneaking around and why would you inform the visiting team or the NFL?

Either way, Patriots broke the rules and admitted to breaking the rules. I fully expect them to get the hammer again because that's how the NFL operates. They live for this crap.

(In the very least) It wasn't Media noise that lost us two first round picks. It was cheating the first time and the second time it was basically a set-up and the NFL used the Media to try and justify it. What you said means we lost two first round picks because the NFL caved to the Media pressure. When did that ever happen?

You're also spinning around in circles here- "the NFL used the Media to try and justify it" "What you said means we lost two first round picks because the NFL caved to the Media pressure." Literally you admit that the NFL put it out there to set up the Pats and used social media to do it. Until this goes away, yeah I'm worried.

Lol, do you expect the Pats to get treated the same? Because they didn't for a equipment violation over deflategate. Not to mention that the prior offenses of breaking the rules doesn't make things better for the past.

Where did Mortensen get that information that 11 of 12 balls or whatever it was? The story started because of an NFL leak of information. They created the Media storm to justify it, they didn't cave to Media pressure. You can be worried, but not about media pressure.
