How would everyone rank Crow-Armstrong, Soderstrom and Mitchell? Who has the best chance to be an impact I player between those three?

They jinxing us at this point. Pretty much every mock has about 4-5 teams in front of the Sox considering Abel too, so I'm still not convinced he'll be available at 17.

This with Abel, Howard, Crochet and Kelley all still on the board. Interesting.

Thanks for the dates. I'll adjust my vacation time. Looking forward for another draft. Who on this wonderful site isn't though. We need to draft each round the BPA(that we can sign). I agree with earlier comments that next years draft will be deep. I also believe it will make the 23's draft much deeper.

I have a hard time seeing both Abel and Bitsko gone before 17. If the four HS hitters Veen, Hassell, Hendrick, and Soderstrom are gone...I think it’s between whoever is left from Bitsko and Abel with Abel being the first pick. With such a strong college talent pool, zero Spring for Abel and Bitsko, and the way these guys fall in a normal draft...I just can’t see them both being gone....of course I have been incredibly wrong every time the Red Sox pick so.

If you haven't already, go check out Mike's draft preview here on the site right away. If you rely on the site as a first stop for draft info, there's plenty on who the Sox may select in Round 1. If you're more like me and need that content digging even deeper, there's a bounty of that too including possible picks at Rounds 3, 4, 5 and even logical possibilities for undrafted free agents. Mike put together another excellent guide.

Where is it going and where does it end? Phew.

"Asa Lacy" was on the 1899 Brooklyn Superbas and you won't convince me otherwise.

Does Law have Crow rated higher than Hendrick? He would likely be "next guy", no? Soderstrom and Howard are in that group as well but I'm a little surprised Hendrick wasn't mentioned in the next guy conversation.

Hendrick was 11 and PCA 19 at that point on his last ranking update but that was back in March (unless I missed one).

Most seem to have Hendrick higher, but they're very different profiles. Hendrick turns 19 right after the draft and would be a draft-eligible sophomore at Miss. State so he he lots of leverage. Keith Law said he's releasing his updated rankings later this week, I believe.
