Balling hard man, I really like what I see this past few games. Please no injuries and let's ride this good play into the post-season.

Robert Williams looking good again. Loved seeing Hayward with a strong two handed dunk. We did our part now the Blazers need to win! Blazers Suns and Spurs won... if they all win the last game and the Grizz lose to the Bucks then the Grizz fall to 11, which jumps their draft pick up to 12.

The standings before the re-set are used for draft ordering. So if Memphis misses out of the playoffs, the C's pre-lottery pick will be 14.
EDIT - Which, of course, means that's the highest they'll pick since the lottery can move a team into the top 4 but the Memphis pick is protected to Top 6.

So are we lucky to face the Sixers minus Simmons are oddly unlucky because it kind of helps their spacing?

Lucky. There size will be an issue, yet they won't have the fire power to keep up with the Celtics. It helps the spacing, yet Horford is a good floor spacer for a center, not really at PF. The downgrade in D, passing, scoring and in the open court is much more. Nevermind the depth issues, for a team that wasn't deep to begin with.

If the backup Celtics can’t beat this Wizards team after scrimmaging a top 5 team all season, Danny is going to have to address the bench depth in the offseason

Pathetic loss, this team is going nowhere.
I’m kidding people, relax.

That wasn't even our backups, that was more third and fourth string guys. They weren't even running plays for the most part, looked like a Summer League game.
Waters was a menace on D, yet looked horrible on offense. Langford showed you the upside, but also why he's not ready. Edwards was once again not that good.

Nothing says "not going for it" with your backups when Tacko plays more minutes than Timelord. I think Robert finally made Stevens a believer, he's one of the guys now. And man if I'm the Lakers I'm thanking my lucky stars I won't have to face the current Phoenix Suns (unless the Blazers somehow find a way to mess this one up). That would have serious upset potential.

So you’re saying you want Waters’ D

Sounds like Langford is done for the year... torn ligaments in his wrist... damn that sucks - not for the team this year really but not a good long term thing missing more time and another injury.

You might not miss him on the court, yet the playoffs allow you a ton of practice time. He losses that experience and we lose his D in practice that can help our wings get ready. Too bad as he was just getting in the grove.

Portland won, so Grizz are now the 14th seed for the draft lottery.

Gosh, I hope Tyrell Terry is available at 14. Love his game. Think he has star potential. Can really shoot it. NBA quick. Feisty

I see the upside, yet find it hard to look past the fact he weighs 15 pounds less than Waters. He's almost 20, so he's not crazy young either. The bar for him to be a starter given those things is crazy high based just on his offense. At 14 I don't know, right now I'm taking another guy. A guy who can play D and fits into our system that way. At 26 sure, heck trade 26 and 30 to move up and get him. Unless he was able to add some muscle since the season ended for the combine. Even Steph Curry was 181 pounds, not 160.

He’s probably going to get nailed at times with ball screens and when he tries to finish. But he seems tough enough to bounce back. He'd be tough to play at the same time as Kemba though. Have you guys watched the Mike Schmitz film sessions? They are so good. I was impressed with Deni Avidjia and Aaron Nesmith.

No I don't. I like NBA draft room, for the high guys they have college and high school tape. Then it's just highlights from YouTube and I try and watch one full game tape against the best teams. I watch some strengths and weakness tapes, yet those are just opinion based and can be rather bad.
I miss my Chad Ford draft input. Along with draft express was as good as it gets. Yet now ESPN seems to give you a lot less information, much less than draft express even though it's the same guy.

He had a bunch of content leading up to the original draft date in June.

I want his tier rankings. Laugh all you want, yet that information was gold. It actually allowed you to judge a draft talent and where the value was. Everyone can have opinions, yet that information was a poll of GMs. Remember it was Ford who said all year a team valued Tatum #1 that was picking high.
