How is Stevens unable to figure out these high school defenses? There is nothing fancy about this box and 1. Get Kemba the ball on the move and exploit the defense from there - it’s not hard.

Anyone seen Kemba Walker he's MIA when he's not playing so-so D. He has a lot of bad games, don't he? He juts seems ridiculously hot and cold. I don't watch as much basketball as a lot of you guys, so feel free to tell me I'm wrong. |

A box-and-one basically makes it impossible for him to get easy looks in the half court, which means the other players have to step up. Their inconsistency plus Hayward’s absence is why it’s even possible for them to play that defense. Kemba made a couple midrange jumpers and Jaylen’s late 3-pointer were the best signs of the 2nd quarter. |

See I love that by Kemba even though he missed. Can't complain about engery in the 2nd quarter. That's about as good as it gets.

I rarely like gimmicky crap in the NBA since it hardly ever works, but I wouldn’t mind seeing the Celts apply some pressure and then push the pace offensively. Toronto’s players are older and have logged a crazy number of minutes, and good luck trying to contain Kemba and Jaylen on fast breaks.
