That ball was imo the batters box by the time it hit the glove. Santander robbed of a solid AB

Exceptionally ugly inning, but no damage. Are you allowed to block the plate that way?

Pivetta with the hustle. I think he’s safe but this team is putting in effort we didn’t see in 2020

I'm getting the O's broadcast and they're concentrating that Pivetta blocked the plate. My argument is how can that be blocking the Plate when Pivetta, Galvis & the ball are all arriving at the Plate at the same time? Pivetts has to be entitled to the ball?

The horrible strike 3 and bad baserunning erases the Botched inning ending double play

Man. Umps with a terrible strike call on Santander and then even with the review they miss the call on the play at home. I'd be losing it if I were an Orioles fan.
(I mean, this is one *more* reason I'd be losing it if I were an Orioles fan.)

I know this topic has been discussed repeatedly, but why are we leading off with a guy who is a career 221/284/386 versus RHers? That just seems like you are giving away outs.

Deep question like Nagel on the bat. I mean: they suck. They are dull. They don’t seem to have that much to look forward to. Do you just watch old clips of Eddie Murray or Jim Palmer?

Can we please try someone other than Dalbac at first for a bit? Ian Browne: "It’s early but is there any buzz that Bobby Dalbec might get sent down? -- @njdestro ... On April 30, 2007, Pedroia, Boston’s rookie second baseman, was hitting .182 with a .544 OPS. On that same date, a Red Sox utility infielder named Alex Cora was hitting .360 with a 1.207 OPS. Terry Francona and Theo Epstein stayed the course with Pedroia and he was the AL Rookie of the Year. Cora went back to being a valuable utility player. In other words, Cora knows better than anyone not to give up on a good prospect in such a short sample size." www.mlb.com/redsox/news/red-sox-inbox-tanner-houck-bobby-dalbec-chris-sale-questions

It is fun to watch Verdugo when he's going well. He can hit the ball hard or just serve it to different parts of the field.

The appeal play is the last refuge of a hopeless team. “Pleeeeeaase give us an out, ump!”
