Devers is already good and still has ridiculous potential as a hitter.

I wonder if some enterprising poster with time on their hands and a good memory might consider drawing up a list of Eck-isms. The latest in a long line of hysterical sayings is (in reference to Bogie's ability to check his swing): "He's the Gumby Man!"

Dalbec joins the fun, hopefully that swing gets him going

Jim Palmer didn’t like the brush back pitch to Xander. He said an Oriole is gonna get hit.

We were talking earlier about whether expectations for this team have changed since opening day, and as far as that goes, it seems pretty significant that JDM has definitively proven, with exclamation marks, that he is not anywhere near washed up.

I'm a bit concerned about the hard contact against Pivetta once he faces good offenses.

Pivetta was better than his line will indicate but he’s definitely not the type that is made for seeing an order 3 times. Still, a backend starter giving you 6 innings in a blowout is all you need

On the other hand, he put a lot of men on base. Still, it is not a horrible outing for your number five starter.
