I know I was a big time franchy hater but id rather watch him then Danny boy. Id rather watch Duran then both of them but they want him to get to 25hrs first is my guess before he gets a chance at the bigs.

that is kind of the amazing thing about the sticky situation, when hitters spoke out, they were basically screwing their teammates and, quite possibly, club success. I really wonder how many position players were fine with that.

I really wonder how many position players were fine with that. Id say they would be more worried about it taking money off their table then their teammates. The game is in a "me" first phase.

Who else on Red Sox is assumed to be impacted by SSR (sticky stuff rule, need to get this acronym going so I don’t have to type it out anymore) ?
If Richards is the only one I’d have to imagine that’s favorable to the Red Sox from a competitive standpoint vs other teams.

Richards is clearly the SP most likely to be yanked out of the rotation with Sale returns, IMO. We can see his career melting away right in front of us. The new rules have him plain screwed.
It reminds me of Eric Gagne, though GR has never had anything approaching Gagne's success. Once they took 'roids out of the game, Gagne was done - though he managed to wrangle a ring from us!!

Pivetta's spin rates looked clean in his last pre-enforcement start. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Hill should be pitching for us at 2.5 million.

Hill should be pitching for us at 2.5 million. Meh. I was against signing Richards, but it was largely for injuries. Hill seemed just as risky. I can’t blame them for passing on him.

If you get the era and whip that Hill produces every year for 80-100 innings at 2.5 mill. I will take that every year.

Richards doesn’t want to be out there. Let’s make sure he gets his wish. Maybe, the worst body language I’ve ever seen
