I promise I won't post every interview for every draft eligible prospect between now and July 2022. This one in particular is for Radiohix:

I love the kid's swing, just made for Fenway and I listened to a few of his interviews, he seems to have a great make-up despite being one of the youngest draftees in recent memory. Maybe him being super young and a HS catcher will make him fall to us so we could use that extra Fabian slot money to dissuade him from going to LSU. Too early I know, but that Casas-Yorke-Mayer-Devers infield is missing a catcher 😅 Add:

He is not on the list. I assume because he said he won't be going back to vandy and I think is going to pitch in the independent leagues this season. If you're asking theoretically where he would fall if he went back to school. I'm not really sure, my guess would be somewhere in the 10-15 range?

If you're asking theoretically where he would fall if he went back to school. I'm not really sure, my guess would be somewhere in the 10-15 range? There's no way he was considered for this list and didn't make the top 20.
Even the 10-15 range on a list of only college players seems pretty low for a guy who "fell" to #10 overall only two months ago, particularly since there's no official word on his arm.
Let's not forget that this was a guy who had 179:39 K:BB in the SEC last year in 122 IP.
It's absurd that what he did in his last game (lost to Miss. St. in the CWS final on four-days rest) caused so much buzz around his draft ranking. (Of course, the guy who won that game - on 3 days rest - rocketed up from the 30s on most draft boards to #14 overall... maybe they should go back to having the draft before the CWS.)
I hope his odd journey helps him fall to the Sox wherever they end up picking in the 20s next time around.

The Red Sox will pick #24 in 2022, assuming no changes to the draft in the CBA. In 2021, the Braves had that pick and selected Ryan Cusick. Slot for that pick was $2.83 mil.

They pick 22 regardless of what happens in the playoffs?

They pick 22 regardless of what happens in the playoffs? Yes, their pick (24, not 22) does not change depending on the playoffs. The MLB draft order is based on regular season standings.

Take him @ 24 if he’s still there. Yes, I don’t like fliers in round 1, but he’s potential 1-1 talent. Probably would demand a big bonus, but that’s where Fabian not signing could really help. Just my $0.02.

Just my $0.02. This year was going to be huge for him too, given the relatively small amount of college tape there is on him right now, especially as a pitcher. Could see a really high range of outcomes on his draft position, though he's been on guys radar big-time since HS.

Rocker right around where the sox would be picking according to that ranking. Certainly wouldn't hate that one bit. Even if he cant develop a 3rd pitch and his elbow is a ticking time bomb for surgery he'd still have a really good shot of being an impact reliever as a floor.
