You didn't gently poke fun at it. You tried to make the poster look like an idiot for offering a baseball opinion on a website that is set up as a place for people to offer baseball opinions. It was honestly meant in good fun. Must be a generational thing. The millennials live in a state of constant sarcasm. Really? My experience is that millennials are linear and struggle with irony. Gen X is the ironic generation.

Offense did not come to play Bogaerts and pray for rain tonight. That’s not going to get it done.

21 missed pitches by Laz tonight, per Jeff Passan, most in the postseason. And yes, that was strike 3 to Castro...

The blown call was a killer. But that's not a license to blow the game.
The law of averages bit hard today. Teams batting .330 cool off. Teams that can mash like Houston do wake up eventually.
A number if Boston media foolishly awarded the pennant to the Sox, yet Houston figured out away to piece the game together with their depleted pitching.
Now the Sox are in danger. Houston's pitching is an issue and they don't have Javier tomorrow, and I thought he could be trouble today.
But on the flipside, Sale has been a mess and Houck has given up homers in his last 3 games and now Eovaldi could be impacted for Game 6.
What's hard to deal with is that the Sox won 2 blowouts and let 2 close games slip thru their fingers. That's 4 games they could have/should have won.
The pen has blown 4 leads this postseason. They got away with it against TB but not against Houston. Bloom has to improve the pen for next season.

That chart is absolutely insane. All those strikes outside the box aren't particularly close. Wonder how many were gifted to Astros.

Houston’s bullpen has been very impressive pitching 7 innings every night. You’d think we would have solved some of these guys by now, but that has not been the case.

Three more baserunners and the tying run will be in the on deck circle.

It’s funny how Joe Buck said that pitch was almost a strike. And they have just really not talked about it. It’s pretty clear to me it’s because it’s an embarrassment to the best sport in the world. This is an embarrassment to the MLB and they don’t want this discussed too loudly on air. I am livid. This is disgraceful. And the team is rattled by it. Playing very unfocused, like they are ghosts rn. You can tell. They are totally rattled by those calls. Idk if I can even blame them. This game just became a total nightmare on them in like 2 minutes time. Well, we beat them 12-3 yesterday and it only counted for one win and this one is only going to count for one loss. AC will have them ready to go tomorrow and the boys will rally around Nate. This team has not made it easy on us all for the last few months and they're not going to start now.
LFG!

We need to come out strong against Valdez, we can actually benefit from knowcking out the starter early tomorrow

It takes so much pleasure out of watching the game when you have umpires this bad. Almost to the point you just don't want to watch anymore.

Blame whoever, but the Eovaldi move seems like a big fail now and could impact two games

The media will note that Cora is undefeated after the Sox lose a postseason game....until that's not the case. It's like a damn jinx.

Not sure why Dusty decided to burn his closer here, but that is appreciated. Don’t they have their version of Sawamura ready to mop up?

Mut, or whatever his name is on EEI, declared the series over in his pre-game. All the 'Stros had to do tonight was find a way to win a game against a fourth starter to shift the entire dynamic of the series. Now they have HFA and can tee off on Sale tomorrow. Game five is must win for us. The Astros can lose and still get the series back to their home field.
